Its a common phenomenon in many houses/buildings across Nigeria during the rainy seasons.

Except houses properly built from the foundation or with proper German flooring or located in hilly/rocky areas

I schooled in Ondo and virtually all houses has this problem. My parents house in Lagos don't have this issue but my apartment in Lagos has.

So i don't think it's a location issue.
