If I leave it for one week after downloading the app, will it still be there when I return to activate it? Or it must be activated that very same day I downloaded the app?

it would still be there. It's not compulsory you activate it on that same day you downloaded the app. But once activated, that's all. You can't activate it again, you can only be given the offer just once and it's valid for 24hrs. One day
