Levyweston:They already pay tons of taxes. The issue is multiple taxations. We don't have streamlined tax systems. Do you expect businesses to pay full taxes at the federal level, state level and even LGA level? You can't have a thriving business environment when any level can arbitrarily impose taxes that are already being taken. Just imagine if you had to pay income tax several times. 2 Likes |

For every N10 paid as tax, only N1-N2 gets used at most. For this reason, people avoid paying tax. |

The government all is about tax, tax, tax...but to provide a conducive environment for bussinesses to strive they cannot do that...no constant electricity light to run bussiness, bad roads, high costs of disel, fuel to run generator to operate your bussiness, multiple taxation.. |
