Well, at least it's progress: it used to be Nigerians would believe someone's accusation without asking for evidence. The sentiment being why would anyone waste his or her time making accusations if it wasn't true. Now we have evolved to believing the accusations of individuals or institutions only when they claim they have evidence. Hopefully we shall get to a place where we are not satisfied with individuals or institutions claiming they have evidence but satisfied when they produce evidence. The goal will be when we are satisfied only with reasonably inarguable evidence. |
