The Nigeria Copyright Commission (NCC) has been requested by the House of Representatives to make plans for preserving the music rights of the late artist Mohbad.

This choice was made in response to a motion made by Babajimi Benson, who underlined the significance of keeping an eye on the continuing inquiry into the circumstances surrounding Mohbad’s passing and preserving his artistic legacy.

The majority of the late singer’s earnings are still flowing to the Marlian Music Group, and no steps have been taken by any agencies to protect the estate of the late singer—who is presently the 46th best-selling digital artist in the world—he continued.
