First, let me say that there have been some positive developments in the judiciary, including reforms to improve transparency and efficiency. However, there are still some serious problems facing the judiciary. These include a lack of resources, inadequate infrastructure, and political interference. Some of these issues have led to delays in the justice system, which can have a negative impact on citizens and businesses.
One of the biggest issues facing the Nigerian judiciary is a lack of resources. This includes a shortage of judges, prosecutors, and other staff. It also includes inadequate funding for the courts, which has led to delays in the justice system. In addition, there is a lack of infrastructure, such as courthouses and courtrooms. This can make it difficult for the judiciary to function effectively. It also creates an environment where corruption can thrive. In addition to these resource issues, there is also political interference in the judiciary.
Continuing on with the issue of political interference, it's been a problem in the past, and it continues to be a concern. The executive branch has sometimes interfered with the judiciary, including by appointing judges who are loyal to the government, rather than those who are qualified and independent. This has led to a lack of trust in the judiciary, and it's made it more difficult for the judiciary to function independently.

One of the biggest concerns about judges in Nigeria is the issue of impartiality. There have been cases where judges have been accused of being biased in favor of one party or another. This can lead to a lack of confidence in the judiciary, and it can make it difficult for the justice system to function fairly. There are a number of reasons why this might happen. Sometimes, judges may be influenced by the executive branch or by political pressure. Other times, judges may be swayed by personal relationships or financial incentives. Whatever the reason, it's clear that impartiality is a major challenge for the Nigerian judiciary.
One way to address the issue of impartiality is through judicial training. By providing judges with training on issues like ethics, decision-making, and the rule of law, it can help to ensure that they are making decisions based on the law, rather than on personal biases. Another way to address the issue is through reforms to the selection process for judges. By creating a more transparent and objective process, it can help to ensure that judges are selected based on their qualifications and experience, rather than on political or personal connections. These are just a few ideas, but there are many other ways to address the issue of judicial impartiality.

Your concerns should be corrected by the Legislative branch. They controls the purse in the state. They also approve appointments. If they weren't wildly corrupt beta males they would correct these issues.

The problem of the judiciary in Nigeria is deeply embedded in each and everyone of the judges, who are Nigerian like you and I.
The average Nigerian is criminal minded and always trying to outsmart the other. In fact some judges are more corrupt than the corrupt politicians who put them in there, they’re never in tandem with reality unless threatened on social media and then they unleash insults in their judgment. 85% of judges are the judiciary problem.
