1. Celebration of birthdays is unfounded in Islam!

2. The Prophet salallahu alayhi wasalam spent about 63 years on earth and he never celebrated birthdays!

3. The rightly guided Caliphs also never celebrated it.

4. The best we can say of birthdays is that it is bid'a an innovation which is an addition to the Islam that's already complete.
