Bells University Showdown; Students Protest Over Unfair Treatment At Obasanjo's by OYINBOGOJU(m): 5:21am On Oct 20, 2011
Frustrated students at the Bells University of Technology have staged a protest against University officials over exorbitant fees and neglect of infrastructure on campus. Students presently pay more than N500,000 for tuition fees and they claim that they, in turn, receive poor accommodation and have no amenities like water and electricity at the school.

Tired of suffering at the hands of negligent school authorities, students on Wednesday staged a protest on campus and also voiced out their frustration on social media websites like Twitter. Here are examples of some tweets sent out by frustrated students of the university:

RT @BellsUniversity: Our VC last month went to France,Greece,Scotland and Ibadan(House*Mansion) wen d skul is in crisis

RT @BellsUniversity: VC's 5year contract has just bin renewed and reasons why, "Obj said, Raise d money u stole"(this may b a joke)
RT @BellsUniversity: Bells University of technologĂ˝ has 8clinic beds, for how many people? 2200 Students capacity??
