Visit Isolo, Ejigbo and Oke-Afa areas, you will weep. Ago, Ojo and Okota areas are also riddled with bad street roads The Lagos state government abandon roads and streets in these areas because Ibos lives there. Sanwo-Olu is the worst of all the Governors that have govern Lagos state. 2 Likes |

Sangotedo to Abraham Adesanya is a nightmare. If you work at VI, you have to leave at 4am. Else, you will spend 3hrs just at a spot of less than 1km i.e from Etiosa Secretariat to Ogidan... |

Not only bad roads, darkness on every major street even though there are lighting poles everywhere installed by previous government, Oshodi the epicenter of criminality that was dismantled by Fashola and sustained its renovation and beautification by ambode has again fallen back to darkness and safe haven for criminals under sanwoolu, marina that is supposed to be a beauty to behold at night is darker than hell at night. Sanwoolu is the worst governor I have seen in lagos since creation. |

ednut1:The governors use the money to embark on high ticket projects, as a state all the roads in Lagos should be in good shape, it's the least they can do considering the money they generate, the state is also supposed to constitute an active Road maintenance board. Fashola's administration constructed numerous major and internal roads, my street in surulere then was tarred during his tenure, ambode and sanwo Olu failed to maintain those roads, they embarked on high ticket projects, like terminal in oshodi and other projects. If a state as big and rich as Lagos and being touted as the best state in Nigeria can't fix and proactively maintain their roads, then Nigeria as a country is not making it out of the trenches |
