Nigeria’s Economy Filled With Opportunities, Prospects — Tinubu’s Aide by Nobody: 9:30am On Sep 29, 2023
The Special Adviser to the President on Economic Affairs, Dr Tope Fasua, has said there is need to look inward to grow Nigeria’s economy.

Fasua said this yesterday in Abuja on the sidelines of his 52nd Birthday celebration and the launching of his five latest books.

He expressed optimism that under the current administration of President Bola Tinubu, the country’s economy would be better.

The presidential aide said: “I don't even see the problem with Nigeria's economy, I only see opportunities and prospects and like I always said this economy hasn't even started; one day it will and very soon, hopefully, under the current administration. We have so many opportunities, that's why many times foreigners come here and they don't want to go back to their countries.

“Usually, unfortunately, it is we that don't appreciate what we have but that is expected. It’s said that ‘the prophet has no value in his hometown’. A lot of people who are ‘japaing’ now will have to ‘japa’ back at some point in time.

“We are the ones that have to build our country. In the US they build their country, sometimes they tell you ‘go back to your country, our ancestors built this place’”.

Director General, Bureau of Public Service Reforms (BPSR), Dasuki Arabi, said measures to reduce the country’s dependence on imports should be encouraged.

Which opportunities when less than 2% spend $10 per day

For most businesses Nigeria has very low population very low

Take for example Apple for them Lexumburg and Switzerland have higher population than Nigeria

Nigeria population is chewing gum and sweet population

🤣😂🤣😂😂🤣

It is in very very few hands. And this man's party APC made it worse.
But over there in saner climes, wealth is reasonably spread.

For example if you are in a community of about 100 people that spend less than $10 a day and only you have upto 10 billion in your account, then you thought of buying apple phone.

You will only buy one for your personal use only abi? Buying 1000 for your personal use bcoz you can afford it will be insanity. The apple company eventually suffers loss from poor sales.

Imagine if 70 of the 100 had 50m naira in their account, about 50 could conveniently buy the apple, the company benefits from the huge sales and everybody is happy.

That is exactly what Nigerians as country are passing through under men of hardship who are harbingers of hardship, hardship engineers.

Our problem starts with electing people who have built nothing and expect them to build something for us

Even with all the drug money Tinubu had no investment worth 50 million naira in 1998

Buhari had built nothing, Jonathan built nothing, yarauda even though from a rich family had no business

Obj was the only enterprising of them all at least he farms

Little wonder he was the best
