Lotanna2:OGUN Some Witness statements were filed out of time and not frontloadeed. False affidavit to INEC - pre-election Some paragraphs were vague, not comprehensible, nebulous and imprecise. His arrest in 1986 and all that.... Not proven; arrest is not a disqualification issue. Couching corrupt practices and substantial non-compliance on same grounds, etc etc. SOKOTO Some minor details of pre-hearing fumbling and preliminary objections. |

Your planned strike and every other strikes you have embarked on does not do any poor Nigerians any good. You worsened their already bad situations. They are those who may not eat without going out to look for their daily bread. The leadership of TUC AND NLC is always using these platform for political gains.I believe there are other options to strike to drive home your demands. |

[quote author=salesbloo post=126103695]Not every Nigerian is a salary earner . The pubic civil servants who are salary earners and unproductive late comers can go on strike . Pray tell, why exactly is labour union going on strike?. Is it only salary earners that are suffering because of the subsidy removal?. Are the rising inflation rates and accompanying rise in food prices not yet in your doorstep?. Make una dey THINK before pushing out this CORNIFIED comments designed to "divide". Nigerians are WISER!!. |

Removal of the subsidy is not the best thing in my own view though, because it is only giving more money to the corrupt politicians to have more access to fund to thief . But since it has been removed, it is better to let it be, let people suffer for 4 to 8 years and see if the removal will bring any meaningful development. The removal to me is just an experiment if works then fine, but with all indices put forward in a country like Nigeria, I don't think it will work out. In the UK, the PMS is selling at the moment for £1.59 which is even more expensive to what you pay in Nigeria. But the transport system is working very well , those double deck bus can take only you from Iyana Ipaja to Oshodi because they run with time, that is their own subsidy. But in Nigeria, you will see BRT waiting for passengers and still wan carry standing. |

NLC just gave Fagbemi enough reason to return to that Court by Tuesday morning to secure another injunction stopping the strike, is it not Industrial Court that dances to the tune of Federal Government in most matters. You don't disclose your secret to your enemy. |
