Finally the body is been dragged around the street of Sirte

authoritatively report that
Libyan strongman, Muamar
Gaddafi, has been shot
dead in Sirte. A senior NTC
military official claim
Colonel Muamar Gaddafi
this afternoon died of
wounds sustained in his
capture near Sirte. Earlier
NTC reported
Gaddafi was captured and
wounded in both legs.
The NTC spokesman told
Western media that
Gaddafi’s corpse will soon
be delivered to Misrata and
that leader of the
opposition, Mustafa Abdel
Jalil, will address the Libyan
nation shortly.
Gaddafi was reportedly
captured near Sirte while
trying to flee in a convoy,
which was attacked by
NATO. The Netherlands'
prime minister, however,
confirmed Gaddafi’s death.
A Libyan government
fighter says Gaddafi was
hiding in a hole in Sirte,
shouting "don't shoot,
don't shoot." Another
source said the head of
Gaddafi's armed forces,
Abu Bakr Younus Jabr,
was also killed during the
capture of the Libyan ex-
leader.
Though White House
officials say they are
monitoring the reports but
cannot confirm Gaddafi’s
status, Italian Prime
Minister Silvio Berlusconi
has said that the war in
Libya is “over.”
