It has been 63 whole years since we got our independence from the Great Britain.

What would you say if you could talk to all Nigerians at the same time?

All hope is not lost for Nigeria.

We now have a renewed hope agenda by the Tinubu regime.

We should not despair. We should keep hope alive.

There's absolutely nothing to celebrate in Nigeria. Tinubu has brought suffering to all Nigerians. As a nation, we were already at the cliff of hardship that Buhari brought upon us since 2015. Then, Tinubu forced himself upon the country and became a catastrophe. He removed fuel subsidy without any plan to cushion the effect and as though that wasn't enough, he float the naira. Today, the Nigeria economy is bastardized. Nigerians have been subjected to untold hardship.

For 63 long years the country hasn't made any tangible progress. Everything we know about good governance has always been on paper. Our roads and streets are bad. We can't have even 10 hours of uninterrupted power supply daily. There's crisis in the health and education sectors. The economy is bleeding and crying for help. People are committing suicide daily because of hardship.

There's nothing to celebrate here. There's no independence here. The last time I checked, we are still depending on the West and the rest of the world for handouts. I don't know why Nigeria has been so unfortunate with leadership.

Maybe we should remain hopeful that one day a savior will come forth for Nigeria. Sadly, we can only be hopeful and we've been in that realm since 1960.

May God help Nigeria.
