A. THE INSTITUTION

Wigwe University is the brainchild of Herbert Onyewumbu Wigwe, the Chief Executive Officer of Access Holdings Plc.

It is sited on 400 hectares of land in Isiokpo town, Rivers State, and has the vision to ignite Africa’s potential for prosperity, nurture thoughtful yet fearless entrepreneurial leaders, and become the topmost higher institution in Africa.

Currently being constructed, Wigwe University will eventually have about 200 buildings, is scheduled to launch September 2024, and is currently engaged in a global talent hunt for its staff.
