That was then. That particular road is a dead trap now, crawling with Bandits. Sarkin pawa hills was Bandits major camps. That was where Bandits and their criminal activities started and spread to other parts of Kaduna and Niger.

Government refused to deal with them when they were only located in their camp around Sarkin Pawa. Now they have build up an Army for themselves. They have also spread to other parts of this Country.

Airforce would've thrown a Bomb on their Camp then, maybe Bandits would've been history in this Country.

Brother, like you know that route more than me , last time I followed there was 2014 & I left Minna in the evening getting to kaduna around 9p.m , during BH terror , it was still scary following there though , as roads were terrible & always lonely . Govt ignored those bandits too much thinking it was a child's play .

All the ones I have driven and ones that have not.

My favourite is the 230 E regular which was my pa's second and favourite after Volkswagen Beetle Model 1300.

I drove the C220 and that was something. I refuse to buy any model car since these years because of my addiction to Mercedes Benz. An idiot swindled me of my hard earned pension.

Well life stories that touch the heart.

There are two cars in the world: Mercedes Benz and others.

Yes. I know that side very well. All those Communities along Kaduna Abuja express Road. Pole waya, Which is the Village at the junction of Sarkin Pawa, from Laduna-Abuja express Road.

In 2014, those Bandits were always sighted by Farmers on Sarkin Pawa hills. Their Camp contain everything that is available for human habitatiin. From Water, drugs, food, power generating sets, plus Ashawo Girls. But Government kept treating them with kid gloves.

In 2014, that Road was very lonely. Travellers avoid the Road. Except Farmers. I used to visit that side between 2008 to 2011. Everything was okay then. No security threats at all. But today, no one can drive through that Road successfully without getting robed or kidnapped. Even Farmers and the Villagers are not spared. Most Villagers around Sarkin Pawa have fled their homes for so many years now.

In those days, one Farmer from that side can provide 2 Trailer load of Yams at a go. They produce Yam, Rice, Maize, Soya Beans, Sugar cane, Groundnut, White and Brown Beans, Milet and Honey in large quantities.

Sarkin Pawa market was in international market. Business men and women come from Niger Republic, Chad and Cameroon to do business there. But today, nothing is happening in that Town.

Now Mercedes-Benz is no more reckoned to be among the reigning automobiles of today

Hmmm!!! Are you sure? From your assertion, i know that you are not in Abj. Here, Mercedes is in its own class. The latest C and E series are not for everyone ok.

Mercedes is still miles ahead of others.
