The disrespect is just too much. Smh

Way too much! We don’t have same benefits of the Island nations, and to make it worse only Dominica and Barbados allow us visa free.

Whats stoping other members from giving us the same privileges they give others?

Whats stopping UK from reducing the visa requirements?

Why must we write English exam to go to school in a common wealth member nation?

This thing annoys me a whole lot!

If you look at this decision very closely, you will know that this is a very stupid decision because I doubt if the total number of foreigners that are doing business or working in Nigeria are upto 1000 compared to the hundreds of thousands of Nigerians in other countries. Most of the 1000 foreigners are actually from developing countries which Nigerians don't really like to travel to.

If you really want to make Nigerian important, provide basic amenities and empower the youths and foreigners will always fly to the country to work or do business.

Don't be ridiculous. What is the ROI on Nigerian assets over so called stable African countries? Outsized. Which stock market is beating NSE returns right now?

Nigerian risk is not for everyone but you would have to be stupid or uninformed to avoid Nigeria.

Listen to the music not the noise.

People that steal money from Nigeria's coffers always try to put their money in foreign banks, mind you these are the people who actually know the situation within that country very well. So why should I bring my money into that country and invest? I freaking guess ain't that stupid after all. That imaginary ROI you quoting is hogwash, not with an unstable currency exchange. I will let you in on a secret, the new Dangote refinery according to the Bloomberg newsletter that I subscribed to is now scheduled to start producing in the early part of 2025 but
reading Nigeria's newspapers and coming from this current administration they expect Production to start this year in November. How can one make a sound business decision with information like that? In business sound information and Data in gold.

While the interior minister should be commended for this move, he must understand that visa on arrival is not a threat or war thing.

No nation will deny a fellow nation visa on arrival for no reason.
I know of a certain tourist country in africa where visa on arrival was available until some months ago. Even to get the visa from their embassy as a Nigerian is a long thing.
Right now they have joined Nigeria to countries like syria, Pakistan, Afghanistan, etc. The visa on arrival is gone.

Upon all these , we are now having a leader that is a certified fraudster and identity confusionist.
Mr minister, you know what that means. Quit all these aluta talks.

We need to tell ourselves the truth, do the needful and take our country to where it is supposed to be.
You can't have a fraudster in power and expect nations to respect you.

Mr minister is speaking about diplomacy, you are here speaking beans...

Countries like Colombian and Mexico who happens to be the higest exporter of coc**ne still enjoy a broader diplomacy benefit than Nigeria.

Nigeria is not such a bad country as you make it look like, our people are hardworking and very enterprising, and they deserve good benefits for their contributions to other countries...

It is like you don't understand what he is saying. He said, "countries that do enjoy Visa on Arrival in Nigeria without imitating such in their country won't be tolerated again!"

That was so clear. This is international treaty and not threat. It shows cordial relationship and mutual respect. It makes trade in both easy.

USA & UK don't enjoy VOA in Nigeria. He is talking to countries Nigeria has a MoU with. This is not market square. This international politics and there is no threat anywhere

You people live in a Dystopian universe.
Nigeria needs foreign investors now more than ever.
Majority of the countries in the world do NOT need Nigeria or Nigerians for investment, tourism or any other economic value. There are currently hundreds of thousands or even millions of Nigerian economic refugees spread accross every country on earth.

Therefore morons, Nigeria does not have the clout to demand anything from any country whatsoever.

Every country in the world with sane leaders court investors and tourists to come and invest and spend money.

Nigeria, this Dystopian paradise, threatens and admonishes the potential foreign investors that it so desperately needs.
Na wa ooo

How old are you guys that love to stumble on any news and just fumbled anyhow? He is talking to countries Nigeria has agreement with. Nigeria has fulfilled theirs, the other country should also respect their own part.

Do you VOA is something you just do? It is always an agreement between 2 countries. Read and learn! Not everything you talk about blindly

Mr. Minister, Tunji Ojo, STOP ranting and lying to your citizens. Your country Liegeria as always would bark like a useless rabid dog and in the end, will settle down. No country especially in the West will give Liegerians visa on arrival. It's NOT going to happen. Liegeria is a pariah state and no reasonable country will accede to the demand of granting your citizens visa on arrival.
He is talking about reciprocity, meaning if you are enjoying visa on arrival to Nigeria then Nigerians should enjoy the same privilege when entering your country. He is not asking any country to give Nigeria visa on arrival Western or not. Most Western countries citizens need a visa to enter Nigeria anyway so there is no issue of reciprocity try to read and understand.

Brilliant! Reciprocity is done everywhere in the world. It's the best way to collaborate and can be domesticated too.

That's why all the SW states must adopt it too as adviced here :
LAGOS GUBER & PLIGHT OF IGBO: Law Of Reciprocity Is The Solution
https://www.nairaland.com/7612989/lagos-guber-plight-igbo-law

Let's collaborate by reciprocity so we can have equitable and sustainable relationship among ourselves and the states. It helps us place value on what we each offer to one another and de-escalate our fault lines.

Every resource must be exchanged by reciprocity for collaboration. Every state has resources to exchange so bring it to the table and use for exchange.

You can not keep holding to your own resources tightly and deplete those of others you demonstrably hate and resent as your host. It's a recipe for intertribal injustice and anarchy.

Let's collaborate by reciprocity and respect and love for each other. God bless Nigeria for ever! Check my signature for free stuffs!
Stop your infantile posturing.

Igbo is ready to exit Nigeria. But felons like you don't want her to exit. Not long ago, a political neophyte and eeeedi*t, Bayo Onanuga opened his stinking mouth to insult Igbo as a race over their voting patterns in Lagos. He was angry because they didn't vote APC.

Bayo Onanuga forgot that he is not original Lagos protégy. Like others, he came to appropriate the political heritage of Lagos in the name of Oduduwa. His parents were groundnut sellers who migrated from the North to Ijebu Ode in 1920s.

So,he is the least person to cast aspersion on Igbos because he has foggy Yoruba identity complex phobia of northern ancestry.

South East is ready to exit Nigeria and everybody will have rest instead of throwing insults.
