I created this topic just to make enquires if someone here have send Credentials to VSB- Technical University of Ostrava in Czech republic before for Masters program.

Couples of weeks ago, I sent all the necessary documents (transcript original with superlegalisation, photocopy of my certified superlegalised BSC certificate.) To the school mail through DHL. Today I received email from the school requesting for the Original copy of my certificate with superlegalisation. Pls is it wise to send my original result to them. Pls help a brother. Thank you.

The way I see it, if you‘re applying for anything abroad from this hence, be it school or job, and they ask you a question about your nationality, the moment you declear that you‘re a Nigerian “GBAGAM“ your scrutiny would immediatetly be shifted to the department of trained diciplined anti-scam specialist of 20yrs of experience above.

They referred you back to a mail dated 25th of Sept 2023. Which means they might have asked for the original of your certificate initially, and not photocopy.

Lol there's a Czech republic study thread on nairaland. You have to legalise the original certificate and send to them. Anyways all this is just a tip of the iceberg. To get a study visa to Czech republic is harder than marrying a virgin in Nigeria presently. There's a reason that thread died despite it being very affordable to study in the czech republic.

So be prepared.

Yes they said certified copy with notries.

Photocopy your certificate alongside your original certificate to a public notary who certifies it with a stamp that carries his name, chamber's seal and contact details affirming that the certificate is original. Then send that notarised copy to the school. Don't ever send your original certificate to an organisation/institution unless during face-to-face interactions. Please next time, follow instructions or ask questions when not sure so that you don't incur more costs. As it is, you will pay another courier fee for an activity you should have performed once.

That said, my immigration oga has said Czech Republic is a no-go area, as seen below:
