Just as the United Arab Emirates becomes first Muslim country to openly show support to Israel, calling Hamas attack on #Israel a serious & grave escalation, stating emphatically that it was appalled to see Israeli citizens getting abducted & Killed brutally by Hamas Terrorists. Other countries of the world are also taking sides.

The world has been divided once again by a bloody and brutal conflict, this time in the Middle East, as Palestine and Israel descend into a fight that has claimed the lives of thousands of civilians in just one weekend.

Nations across the world are watching violence unfold in the region, and appear to have already chosen sides in the conflict, which has so far been the bloodiest weekend in the region for 50 years.

According to report, the death toll has surpassed 1100 on both sides and thousands were left wounded as heavy rocket firing continued at several locations. At least 700 people have reportedly been killed in Israel and more than 400 have been killed in Gaza. In view of the situation of war, Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu addressed the nation and asked to be prepared for a "long and difficult" war a day after Hamas fired a barrage of rockets at Israel and also sent hundreds of its fighters to invade the country. In Gaza, airstrikes by Israel have continuously been causing damage, while at least three schools and one hospital have also been impacted.

Hamas has officially cited that the tensions with Israel include the dispute over the Al-Aqsa Mosque, which is sacred to both Muslims and Jews. This site, known to Jews as the Temple Mount, has ignited violence in the past as well, which led to an 11-day war between Israel and Hamas in 2021. However, this time the situation has erupted after a dispute last week, when during the Jewish harvest festival of Sukkot hundreds of Jews and Israeli activists visited the site, prompting condemnation from Hamas and accusations that Jews were praying there in violation of the status quo agreement. Meanwhile, the war between Hamas and Israel has raised concern among several nations in the West and Middle East.
