The News today is that the Israeli government has stationed some 100,000 Soldiers on the border with Gaza and called up 400,000 more for a massive ground invasion. Many Tanks and Artillery pieces have also been brought in. Israel has one of the best funded, equipped and trained fighting force in all of Africa

On Saturday, Hamas gunmen invaded Israel from Gaza and killed over one thousand Israeli's, kidnapped over 150, and took them back into Gaza

In response, Israel has cut off electricity, food supply and water to Gaza and blockaded the entire place. The Israeli Airforce have been bombarding Gaza night and day and all buildings linked to Hamas have been levelled from the air. Over 700 Palestinians have so far been killed

However, much worse is yet to come. A massive ground invasion of Gaza will put its 2 million people in jeopardy and many more civilians are most likely to die in the fighting.

In the meantime, Hamas is preparing for a fight to the finish and also threatened to execute the hostages jt captured
