The world bank, IMF & co are Evil 👿. Why even consider borrowing money to Nigerian government having seen the level of Corruption in this Apc government since 2015. They grant this loans & devalue our currency from the back door at the detriment of Nigerians who wouldn’t get any of the cash transfers or palliatives as they put it.
The west are only granting this loans for their selfish gains hence reason why they prefer Bad Government in the whole African sub region. Makes you wonder why old men are the ones in Government all over Africa. They are all Western puppets.Saddened

The world Bank won't stop lending to Nigeria until it turns the country to Argentina or Greece. When Nigeria gets to that stage, the world Bank will close shop and leave us to deal with the consequences

They said he is very bad cos he is an ibo man. We are in another stanza of economic downturn.

Tinubu na Agba yahoo. This is what happen when you entrust a federation to a well known thief that has been stealing from a state called Lagos for decades. What do you expect him to do when he have the opportunity to rule a whole country?

Note: Once a thief always a thief. If you expect a well known theif to change overnight you must be stupid. Of course he can never change even if he's a religious leader. Forget that Tinubu is a muslim and religious, he had always been a thief and he will never change not for you or me or the less privilege that are hungry and dying. Apc will forever rot in hell.

This madness needs to stop. You removed fuel subsidy to save money only to end up borrowing money again to cushion the effects of the same subsidy removal? Who are all these folks df.

Did they forbid us from having working refineries or what?

You eat the very seedlings you're supposed to be planting in fertile soils and you think you have a future. Dey play

You beg and borrow 400mill USD and then share the cash to imaginary families.

Guys,

USD400M can build a textile making factory that can employ thousands of youths and also make Nigeria a major player in the textile industry in Africa.

USD400M can solve the mechanized agricultural needs of 15 States in Nigeria.

USD400M can fund the primary health care problems of hundreds of local governments in Nigeria.

I can list 50 different areas the people will benefit in the long term if this money is used by our "less than average leaders" we look up to for solutions.

Brace yourself my people, until we start doing the right things, we are doomed in the hands of these manipulators tussling for power.

You eat the very seedlings you're supposed to be planting in fertile soils and you think you have a future. Dey play.
Succinct.
We must stop borrowing for consumption. Nigerians no dey hear word - They say they want a better country, but do the complete opposite.

No more was saved for removing subsidy. This shows high level of ignorance of what subsidy is all about.

Subsidy is to reduce the actual price of a good for the citizens to buy it at certain price.

Government is to take the money from her supplus to that but as our consumption increases, government could not foot the bill, hence started to borrow to do it. The cost ran up to 4Trillion naira annually.

This present government said it is unsustainable and had to remove it to reflect the market price.

So, NO MONEY SAVED ONLY THAT WE DIDN'T INCUR MORE DEBT.

Be informed, please and stop spreading fake news.

As Nigerians don't want to use their head APC will use it for them, since APC took over it has been from one borrowing to another, with the same excuse to back it up.

How foolish can Nigeria be, complaining of high dollar rate and dwindling economy at the same time still borrowing money to embezzle.

It’s financial, engineering. It’s simply a means of getting more forex into the system to,stabilize the Naira. They borrow in dollars, pay the cash recipients in Naira, and the dollar repayments are spread out over years. This means they get a bulk forex inflow in the short term to help the Naira.
You don't even understand what you are saying. Zombie.

Is it the West, that asked a certain tribe to vote for their brother despite his incompetence?

D very day I watched Abiola's son interview, that was when knew that Tinubu is full of evil.
D idiot when to Abacha for an appointment as Commissioner and Abacha rejected him, he now joined NADECO, that was why when almustapha was released he told Yorubas to go and ask their elders which of them that killed Abacha.

That the kind of reason world bank need to give out loan as they will not use the money for anything important assuming they said they want to use the money to rebuild the refineries they won’t give such loan. And why can’t they use the $1.2 billion to fix one refinery instead of sharing the money to poor people.

How will they pocket dollars?

For embezzlement to occur smoothly you need more of foreign currency.

They will pay us in naira then pocket the dollars. At least they have told you what's it is used for so you won't question them in future.
