Anyone excited over court ruling in favour of PDP,LP or any other party at the National or State assembly level is just deluded because the likelihood of the winner decamping to the APC is very,very high.
I think a law should be enacted that says,yes you can decamp,but if you do so you vacate your seat ,or the law can also state you can only decamp at the next electoral cycle.
That's the only way to put a stop to all these decamping rubbish and also preserve a multi party democracy that is crucial.
It will also strengthen the assemblies and make opposition parties more vibrant and function as the checks they should on the ruling party because once you are elected under a party you know you have to serve under that party till you either step down or the next election.
