But we don't have such products as Korea do. The product of our competitors are even better than ours. Where does that leave us?

God has given every nation one or two things to survive on but they have to discover and develop it.

We have many products to export but they need the support of Federal government or state governments to produce in larger scale and export.

PBAT is pulling the string of Chinese economic strategy after WWII the CNY was devalued and floated to attract cheap labor and reduce the cost of Chinese products for the foreign market to attract more exports which led to the inflow of more FOREX because most countries' currencies were higher than CNY as at then.
At this point, most American tech giants and others began to move their production lines to China 🇨🇳 because of cheap labor which will automatically reduce the cost of production, and product costs and increase sales. Today China 🇨🇳 is the 2ND most developed economy in the world because of this strategy, it was a tough time for China just like present-day Nigeria.
Pres BAT should not bow to the pressure of reversing his policies, he is on the right path of economic restoration and nation rebuilding (Destruction of old structures must happen before a better structure can be rebuilt).
To make the most use of this time learn to export your products and services to the neighboring country, the businessman's testimony is an eye eye-opener for the wise.
In the meantime, PBAT should ensure food security and national security. Take it or live it PBAT is a genius in economy and he might be one of the most celebrated heroes of our time. Nigeria will be great,

More gibberish and rubbish.
Sighs!!!!

The naira has been devalued through the back door wink the effect of the Naira in recent times on the economy is exhibiting the trait of currency devaluation

Are you saying that our president has no integrity?

What of your claim that China floated its currency?

When someone said to China many years ago, that China will become an industrialize nation I reckon that there were folks like you who said something was wrong with his brain. Same with Singapore.

All the things you listed here are just excuses, which of course we are very good at. China is not even an English speaking nation but they were able to rise above that major excuse to be where they are today.

No matter how bitter the truth may sound, China will give an arm and a leg to have this our kind of exchange rate. What we see as a problem and a failing economy will please a country or people who have thought outside the box and are able to start exporting either their products, services or skills.
deavicky:
somebody up there said something is wrong with ur brain, I think the person is right. For ur information Nigeria had never for once created and environment for young minds to go into manufacturing.
Ranging from the useless things being taught in school, using hunger to make the young once only think of their next meal, if u brake out of all this you will start experiencing poor government infrastructures, no bank would want to give loan to a starter etc . How do u want people to survive and manufacture.
The government can not maintain any mining operation in Nigeria we still need to depend on Importation of raw materials for production. If u even manage to import costum duties is another thing on his part.

People exporting goods including processed agricultural goods, and services are making a killing. Every dollar brought into the country swells the naira you have.

Imagine if we had great hospitals which attracted patients from around the world in the same fashion as India and your doctors are still paid in naira.

How many really and is it not the same Raw Materials that they are exporting, the main finished products they cannot export because there is no processing capacity due to weak naira and inflation along with insecurity and infrastructural deficit. You guys should stop the lies and propaganda as these things do not sell anymore.

How is what you have said different from what I am saying. I am saying, China will wish they had this exchange rate to do as you have said, remain competitive in the world market.

The major reason our exchange rate is a big problem to us is because we are proudly an import dependent nation.

Not at all.

It’s just the same bullshiting propaganda lies that Buhari used to scam us for eight years, and Tinubu has used to suffocate 20 million Lagosians since 1999.

If foreign demand for Nigerian goods is rising, then we should have more jobs, less japa and ultimately better naira value. Have you seen any of these things happen since Tinubu’s fake announcement of unified exchange rates? Have you seen any

Well, I've always known that one of the most formidable machineries most government keep and maintain is their propaganda machinery ready to dish out lies, half truths and untruths.

you may just have verbal analysis. Which is still not as u think. We buy raw materials outside with èxpensive dollar, process it, make a design of it and sell it cheap. How is that possible?.I wish I care enough to invite you to my company to see things you never imagine is happening .

I have said it time and time again. Every economic challenge has hidden benefits in it. The complainants will be on the internet complaining.

Every part of Aba is filled with tailors and shoemakers. Before now it was imported dresses with foreign brands. Today majority of our dresses are made locally.

I'm not saying that there are no challenges. Quoting exchange 💱 everyday on the net as a way of abusing the government will not help anyone's life.

The Ghanaians made a fortune selling alomo bitters. Is it not ogogoro with herbs added? Can't we produce this and send to other African countries?

Please no strength for political arguments.
