Please let him be, allow him to laughed very well

INEC promised to transparently beam the election results live on broadcast as they were trickling in directly from the polling booths

What did we get? Excuses upon excuses to defend their failures.

So you've got the audacity to say this after INEC has suppressed votes and manipulated figures?

If you still have hopes and dreams for this country, you're the most optimistic person ever and that kind of optimism would drown you. Apt analysis though, data is really art. Although i can't help but notice the lack of context of population, eligible voters and maybe demographic as well. Would hv painted a better picture highlighting these issues, like im sure more men would vote than women for several reasons, one being security.

The apathy is too damn high and the last elections just exacerbated it. Nigeria's problem is not necessarily its leaders, that's just a symptom. It's us as a people. We are way more flawed than the average human and that's putting it mildy. Selfishness, greed, lack of foresight... any negative trait is amplified and positive traits minimised. We always take the mean down, hardly up. Anywhere u go from top of the pyramid to the bottom rungs, its the same. Wipe out everyone of our leaders at every level in the country and replace em with new ones, its the same. Its the culture, the way of life.

Our values and value systems are rotten, its innate, so the negative traits amplify causing negative energy to dominate and feed itself in a loop. There's no balance. In working societies, they have way better values and systems that are ingrained so it feeds in a positive loop of energy . Positive traits are amplified, negatives minimized not like its not there. So there's balance, it even tilts more positive even though there are still serious issues, humanity is f***ed. Humans are basically similar everywhere but our levels in africa are so off. Like we are the beta test or runt of the litter.

The only way is to create better values and value systems to imbibe in our yet unborn generations so they'll help us evolve faster cause nothing u do in this lifetime would work cause the rot is too deep. Maybe in like 1000 yrs from now we would have evolved to have sense collectively or maybe 500. Afterall 500 yrs ago, most of these advanced societies where not as advanced as societies as they are now. Hell, we didnt even know boiling water could purify it. So hopefully 500, optimistically 1000, realistically we might always remain behind.

Election Petitions Filed By Litigants Can’t Be Used To Assess 2023 Polls, Says INEC
https://leadership.ng/election-petitions-filed-by-litigants-cant-be-used-to-assess-2023-polls-says-inec/?utm_source=&utm_medium=twitter nlfpmod

...Out of 1,196 petitions, 712 were dismissed and 179 withdrawn.

It is very wrong for this INEC commissioner to be making conclusions when the appeals of these judgements are still ongoing.

Meanwhile..
He is angry that there were inconsistencies in the report?
He shouldn't be.
INEC is the grandfather of all inconsistencies in Nigeria.

Oohh.. 74.4% of the petitions found no merit.??
So, 25.6% found merit??
Meanwhile.. He should wait a little bit further.
The numbers MIGHT change drastically after the whole appeals are concluded up till the final appellate jurisdictions.

The accuracy of this report is doubtful. So they are trying to say that with the mass social media and street mobilization of Peter Obi and his Ipob supporters who were waving Nigerian flags for the first time ever, even with Psquare dancing in front of sellout crowds in Port Harcourt, turn out was still at an abysmal 29%? Na lie grin

Mumu when some people came out to vote the BVAS machine was snatched and the useless army was busy doing nothing.

These idiots continue to play dumb and play with their lives.

I can bet you that until INEC is revamped we can never see voter turnout again in this country

It's because the system is trustless. Secondly, insecurity and voter intimidation is on the high. If iRev was properly implemented, by now we should be pioneering blockchain voting.

India, yesterday, took to blockchain to track oil transactions; modern moves by a truth economy.

The OP is a known notorious for his hatred and nonsense write-up on this Nairaland Forum!
Many times, they just used negatives to trend and the gaulibles audiences roll along!
So,many are not surprised.
Once it's not LP,or PDP,then nothing good is in Nigeria! Yet they want to rule by Proxy- the same Nigeria they don't have hope in!

All the indices of economic, humanitarian, electoral, democratic or constitutional that have been used as assessment tools for development have always returned Nigeria an abysmal failure for the worst of things on earth under this evil govt.

There were more voters in this year election than previous years.
in the past, it used to be writing of figures by INEC which they could not do because of the use of BIVAS this year; they just wrote figures for APC according to the accreditation figures this year.

It will be worse in coming elections as most of the new voters are discouraged by INEC SELECTION.

It will get worst at the next election. The only reason most nigerians turn up for election is because of the money been shared at the polling unit

PREMIUM TIMES had reported how Nigeria recorded a new low in voter turnout during the last general elections. With a national turnout of 29 per cent, a Premium Times analysis showed that the last election had the lowest participation rate in the country’s six decades of independence.

The fact that this thread is struggling to get beyond page 2 confirms the authenticity of that report.

Most Nigerian youths are so politics averred.

That said, as per the quoted statement from Premium Times, that was because the politicians used their magic to cancel and repress a lot cancelled votes.

In Lagos alone, people came out as never seen before but see the figures that were reported.

Make una dey apply sense dey when typing. Who wants to put their life at risk for nothing where you have thugs dictating who the mass at a polling unit and the police sitting right there doing nothing

It 'll only get worse, after the gloomy aftermath of the 2023 election millions of youth won't vote 2027. Nobody wants all the toxicity, violence, death threats and death with nothing to show. Things got so since Buhari, now Tinubu is making it worse. The self acclaimed patriotic Nigerians don't care about the country as far as their tribesman/faith is president Nigeria can sink for all they care. Nobody wants that, with the way things are APC 'll see the end of this country cos people won't vote and APC 'll remain in power

You are wrong

The last election says otherwise, the few that came out were frustrated, injured and intimidated, infact some people lost their lives.

2. Your Inec defranchised another set of people by not allowing them to votes from their location
