Has anyone noticed yet that the apc controlled executhieves, legislathieves , judishary have absolutely nothing to offer. How will increase in the salary of the academia stop the unwholesome free fall of naira and revive the comatose economy.

who will pay? is it states that have refused to pay minimum wage of N35,000 that will pay primary school teacher N250,000 and secondary N500, 000 and university N1,000,000?
if they want this to be achievable, education should be moved to the Exclusive list. let only FG handle education matters.

All primary schools as placed under SUBEB should be strictly under FG. The main problem, those handling the foundation of education across the country do not have the means and have been handicapped to do the job. Primary schools placed under the authority of the local and state government can never produce sound, future citizen based on those managing them right now because the foundation in place is too faulty.

Nobody will pay teachers that amount in salaries. When you consider the number of teachers we have in Nigeria, you understand how much this country will be spending in paying salaries alone. Tomorrow, you expect the government not to borrow money.

It's obvious the person who sponsored the bill didn't do a thorough job. The biggest lie we have been told is that Nigeria is a rich country. Nigeria is not rich.
Don't be deceived Nigeria is very very Rich

Teachers should be one of the highest paid workers in Nigeria.

And qualification as a Teacher should be one of the highest things to achieve in Nigeria as well.

It should be as rigorous as passing a Law Degree or Medicine.

That way, you will get quality Teachers who will dedicate their life and time to truly impact the young ones to help them develop.

Also, every form of non conventional form of education should be abolished at the basic level. All these Koranic Schools Or Islammiyya schools should be abolished and only meant for people who have finished secular Primary and Secondary Schools.

Same with any similar Christian school system.

That way, what children will first learn won’t be how to recite religious book and some religious indoctrination but the right mental development suitable for their overall development.

These are things the Lawmakers should look into as well.

There is no Christian school that doesn't first of all follow the Nigerian school curriculum. There maybe additional courses.

Nonsense talk.

So government can print more money to pay a tiny percent of people while the rest of us battle this undying inflation even worse.
