I feel like going under; there is no joy in sight; all I feel is pain and anger.
My mind hurts. I can’t think straight anymore.
I might go under.
I might find peace but I can’t continue living like this anymore.
No one seems to understand me.
I don’t even understand the world around me.
Everything seems to be against me.

Under it, I find myself in a state where,
I don’t understand what I am going through.
Nothing seems to work; nothing seems to make me happy.
Things that brought joy to me in the past
It no longer means anything to me.

I am lost in this state of mind.
All I want to do is hurt myself and, if possible, end this thing called life.

Under the query, the thought
Of under, and what could be pushing me under?
My sanity is unstable.
Like that of Nigerian electricity
Going off and on every now and then.

Depression is depressing the human out of me.
How did I get here? And how do I get out of here?
