In Nigeria, being from Umahia in Abia State, she will not get such appointment in Anambra State.
Peter Obi played that game very well.

For non-conforming or non-binary people, you don't use her or him for them Lol.

In the SE, she would have received the Bianca Ojukwu or the Mayor of Aba's treatment.

I like that she proudly bears Igbo name even though she identifies as a Canadian. Congratulations to her.

She is still a Nigerian but they came back home last 16 years. They used to go back to Nigeria often then

Gay spotted. We don't do that shit here. You can praise uzoma without trying to legitimize LGBTQ2S+.

Will you keep quiet!

See this sanctimonious….holier-than-thou bigot pointing the accusatory finger at others when his own wardrobe is probably crammed full with skeletons!

And so what if she’s gay!? How does her chosen lifestyle affect you!? You only highlight her sexuality just to try and belittle her accomplishments and rain on Ndigbo parade! You Nigerians are so ‘holy’ and ‘straight’ yet your country is a cesspool of wickedness, hate and iniquity! It’s this same ‘sinful’ western world that you ‘holy’ lot are falling over yourselves to emigrate to and queuing up at their embassies and high-commissions from dawn to dusk! Imagine the irony and hypocrisy! How come none of you are falling over yourselves to port to Iran or Saudi-Arabia!?

To all entitlement nations where this lady would have been reminded of her state of origin, a civil war that she did not participate in and the vote pattern in a lopsided election, the Lord help you

Ai wonder O!

RenaissanceGuy:
So when is an Anambra man going to be allowed to become a mayor in Abia, let alone a Kenyan becoming a commissioner in the SE??
We celebrate it when Nigerians take up political positions in other countries, but we would never allow people from other states to enjoy same privileges, let alone from other countries. That smacks of low self-esteem.

That is the irony that is lost on Igbos who continue to celebrate that they are accepted in the Western world, but do not even accept themselves in similar fashion in their own Igboland.

It is a fact that even civil servants from Abia are sacked in Anambra state public service, while the Anambrarians in Abia public service are also sacked in return of the "favour".

Imagine such profiling within the same tribe celebrating foreign acceptance that is an anomaly within their own tribe.
These above are a figment of your imaginations
My opinion still stands tho
Tinubu would pick an uneducated market woman in so oshodi before he would even consider this educated lady and you miscreants will praise him

When it is something bad, the nationality of Nigeria woman. when it's success, Igbo woman, it's simply about ethnicity.

Just like in 1946, zik western pilot propaganda.

Yes you only have to be scared of insecurity, nosediving economy, unemployment, inflation, no light, inadequate health care.............

Things they no longer remember in Canada

In Nigeria Tinubu will skip her and go to oshodi to pick one unqualified Yoruba muslim thug then Yoruba ronu miscreants will hail him

They seize every opportunity to spew rubbish. How many of such appointment you just claimed has Tinubu made ? The profile of Nigeria's current minister is bigger than the Ibo woman you are bragging about. He is a Professor in Harvard University.

Muhammad Ali Pate CON (born 6 September 1968) is a Nigerian physician and politician who is the current Minister of Health and Social Welfare of Nigeria since 2023. He's also a professor of the Practice of Public Health Leadership in the Department of Global Health and Population at Harvard University.

Talk with sense and not too emotion na. Tinubu is known to annex talent o.

At the long run, what's the difference between an insecure society and a society that only portrays 'Sodom and Gomorrah?' Where even the crime being committed in the insecure place is illegal vs where sodomisation is legal? I bet a greater destruction await Sodomy!!!
