Yoruba Tinubu supporters, are you guys just going to let your tribalism and bigotry ruin the nation? The naira is sinking fast, and along with it our economy, our businesses, foreign and local investments will sink. Why are you people so heartlessly mute as if you are immune to the disasters ushered in by a weak naira? What a nation that cannot stand as one.

The CBN is just a cosmetic label to the economic engine of the nation especially when tribalism influenced the selection of the governor rather than experience and competence.

Buhari, the architect of this mess would be laughing at Tinubu saying it wasn't this bad when I was there grin grin grin grin

The government must increase interest rates now to restore some level of confidence in the Naira. By keeping interest rates way below the level of inflation, it would tell the world that the country isn't ready to face the mess on ground.

I must wear Brazilian hair, use iPhones, drink Hollandia peak milk, and must import, instead of manufacturing. This is the result.

Let me quote Oga Reno Omokri... grin

"I urge the Tinubu administration, and especially the Central Bank of Nigeria, not to resume the costly Naira defence that cost us $1.5 billion monthly.

Floating the Naira should continue. A weakened Naira will reduce our dependence on imports and promote import replacement, favouring the manufacturing sector. Let market forces and market forces alone determine the value of the Naira. We must learn to cut our coats according to our cloths and not our size."

Those that are standing on Tinubu's mandate please make wuna have mercy on this country. Some of you should honorably step down since his mandate is no more strong enough to carry wuna coupled with the numerous challenges faced by this country. 😭😭

It's quite sad that we never appreciated the works of Emiefele..

Aside his wrong doings..

He always took every necessary measures to defend the naira ..any way possible..

We have never had enough dollars.. government had been supporting it ever since..

Then a Jack ass decided to float..and here we are.. the devaluation won't stop

Naira is finding its real value. No more padding it with $1.5 billion monthly.

It will surely stabilize then healing can begin.
