forgiveness:Tinubu will make provision from July to December. You are inept at counting. How will you be able to comprehend more complex things? If I say something will last till June, it means it will be available in June. You don't have a functioning brain. Borrow one before you quote me next even if from a chicken |

Amethystss: Exactly, I watched the program live and even the one they had with him after PEPT when they also had issues. What annoyed the man was the rudeness of Rufai and I think itβs high time the guy Rufai differentiate between being a journalist and being a supporter of a particular candidate and party. Will this man had issues with the likes of Seun Okinbaloye, Chamberlain Usoh? The answer is capital NO because those are damn professionals even Reuben Abati and the other lady have asked him questions without rancor but Rufai will always want to proof a point when he sees an APC supporter on their show. For me Channels is still the best tv station in Nigeria not this one full with unprofessionals like some people are saying here because they have Obi supporters there as journalists. 1 Like 1 Share |

Kukutente23: Make provision from which budget? Do you mean to borrow money? Who removed subsidy from the budget? 1 Like |
Re: Rufai Oseni Clashed With APC guest On Arise TV Morning Show. by Kukutente23: 5:30pm On Oct 30, 2023 |
forgiveness:Keep quiet. The budget for subsidy was supplementary in the first place. All Tinubu had to do was send a supplementary budget if he wanted subsidy from July to December. Nobody removed subsidy from the budget. Subsidy was in supplementary budget 1 Like |

Kukutente23: Stop lying. Subsidy was removed completely. There is no provision for subsidy in supplementary budget. The same supplementary budget Tinubu requested to amend to provide palliative. No money. Except you want him to use borrowed money to pay subsidy. 1 Like |

forgiveness:The truth of the matter is that the plan was set in motion by Buhari but Tinubu made the decision. If he had wanted to continue with the subsidy he could have. A supplementary budget could have been created, he had enough time. So, in essence, Tinubu stopped the petrol subsidy. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Miyachi: $7.3 billion of subsidy would have benefited Nigeria more!? Of course, for the main time but for how long? Borrowing money to pay subsidy? 1 Like |

Hakeem66: Learn to accept the truth sometimes. Rufai was very rude and is always rude to a particular section of the country. Rufai shows extreme hatred and antagonism to APC members. Same Rufai is very gentle with LP members and that is nothing but hypocrisy. |

This is part of what have led us to where we find ourselves in this country - insincerity! Small talk, african elders don't know more than somebody is rude when they want to shy away from the truth& shut youngsters up. Some, esp older folks are saying dt Rufai was rude to dt man, how? He was being interviewed abi what did he go there to do? 1 Like |

forgiveness:That's not the question. The question is if Buhari removed subsidy before Tinubu took office and it's a sure, capital NO |

Kukutente23: Buhari removed subsidy by not making provision for subsidy from June to December 2023. Simple and short. 1 Like |

forgiveness:The problem with people like you is that you think lying makes you intelligent. The same Tinubu since he took office has sent two supplementary budgets to the NASS. Both are for spending on palliatives. Why did he send supplementary budget from June to December when Buhari did not make provisions for palliatives in the budget? Funny enough, it is even Tinubu that's now paying for subsidy without appropriation which is illegal or how do you think petrol price remained the same despite the forex crisis? You're not really smart |

Kukutente23: Palliative wad the initiative of Buhari. The reason he wanted to borrow $800m. This is the money Tinubu wants to share to 15m Nigerians. You be real ignoramus. 1 Like

Re: Rufai Oseni Clashed With APC guest On Arise TV Morning Show. by Kukutente23: 9:47am On Oct 31, 2023 |
forgiveness:Palliative is not an initiative of Buhari. Palliative has always existed any time subsidy removal is mentioned. SURE-p under Jonathan was also palliative. The $800m was never taken by Buhari. It was Tinubu who sent another request to nass for the 800m when he took office and now has sent another 2.1trn request to nass. So why did Tinubu send a request if Buhari had done it already? Tinubu had a choice to let the subsidy run out in June and then send another supplementary budget to nass to extend it to December but he chose to do otherwise. Now he's paying 164bn subsidy and still doing palliative You're lying in a dumb way.

Kukutente23: It doesn't negate the fact Buhari initiated palliative with the intention of borrowing $800m to cushion the effect of subsidy removal because he removed subsidy from the budget. It's very simple and straight forward. 1 Like |

forgiveness: I hope you saw the recent news about the supplementary budget that was sent to the Assembly for assent. I hope the funds will be gotten from IGR. I still stand by my statement, the subsidy would have benefited Nigerians more than whatever sham policies or programs the FG plans to come up with. |
