The reason why he is suspending it has to do with money and where it will enter.
Remember Fubara was the finance commissioner under Wike.
My view is that he knows the actual money for the contract is say about ₦60b max and the other ₦65b will accrue to Wike or his cronies through the contract sum once the state executive Council governor approve the release of funds.
So he is effectively depriving Wike of a cool ₦60b or more.
If this tussle continues,expect to see other inflated contracts known by Fubara cancelled.
But if they later settle,expect the siphoning of funds to go as as originally planned.
In Rivers,Delta,Bayelsa in particular,these are the common ways governors,commissioners become billionaires,so no one borders about it,unless there is a fight like this or a new party comes into power

U re the one that stupid. Everywhere his enermy (wike and his loyalists) are getting free money, must be blocked, wen u suffocate people contesting with u, u weaken them.


Several of such projects,are the avenues where they see unlimited money that making them feel like tin-God over governor in power.

Wen he blocked them successfully, Wike's loyalists would be starved financially, and they won't have option than to surrender,and for Abuja Minister, he can't see the kind of unlimited money he is seeing rivers like abuja to throw around.

Don't bother, it will be reviewed and re awarded at the real cost which will be less than 30% of the initial cost
