BREAKING!!! First Niger Bridge Onitsha On Fire

Tragedy struck today as the historic First Niger Bridge in Onitsha became a blazing inferno, a consequence of a fuel tanker explosion that rocked the area, Igbere TV reports.

The incident sent shockwaves through the region, shrouding Onitsha and its surroundings in thick, billowing smoke. The First Niger Bridge, a vital link connecting the eastern and western regions of Nigeria, fell victim to the relentless flames, resulting in severe transportation disruptions and heightened safety concerns.

Eyewitnesses recounted the horrifying moment the fuel tanker erupted in flames, unleashing a massive fire that rapidly devoured the bridge’s structure. The ensuing chaos prompted locals to evacuate the area, while emergency services mobilized to bring the situation under control

Thanks to those who called my attention to the cause of the incident.
Fire was started by a tanker explosion.
I pray no life is lost.
And if there is, I pray GOD gives them the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.

Can you please stop this tribalism? 😕
Who would have wanted to be involved in such an accident?

Must you guys tribalize everything?

Yuck!!!

I LAUGH WHEN OUR PEOPLE CALL TERRORIST ATTACK AN ACCIDENT.

IT IS HIGH TIME, WE PASS A PIPELINE FROM ASABA INTO ANAMBRA.

THEY SHOULD JUST OFFLOAD THEIR PETROL THERE AND WE WILL USE PIPELINE TO SEND IT ACROSS THE NIGER FOR ANAMBRA STATE GOVENMENT TO DISBURSE.

I BLAME BUHARI FOR THIS. angry

WITHOUT HIS 2ND NIGER BRIDGE, THESE IGBOS WOULD HAVE GOTTEN THEIR SECESSION BY FORCE, WITH NO BRIDGE CONNECTION TO NIGERIA.

THEY WOULD HAVE HAD TO PERSONALLY SWIM ACROSS THE RIVER NIGER, DODGING CROCODILES AND SHARKS, TO REACH NIGERIA.

BUHARI, YOU SEE YOUR LIFE? undecided

Westerhoffe:
If the fire wasn't started by a crash, then someone definitely set it ablaze.
But what would the culprit gain with that?

FBI needs to look into this matter.
