The claimant to winning the presidency Atiku Abubakar kept mute since crisis engulfed PDP in Rivers State. Atiku always misses simple opportunities to demonstrate political leadership. He should have waded in and even pretended to be forming activities at reconciliation. At the minimum, even issue a statement calling on the party to set up a reconciliation committee to address the crisis.

Even if it yields nothing because of the recalcitrance of Wike, it would show that Atiku has the interest of the party at heart and make people trust him. By allowing Tinubu of APC settle a rift within PDP, Atiku has allowed Tinubu score a MAJOR political point against him in PDP.

This is why Tinubu is ahead in the game and Atiku is playing catch up...

We expected Atiku to hit the ground running in reforming the party and reconciling members after Atiku's press conference, but he hit the ground and sat down.

Wrong!

Atiku and PDP had the 2023 elections to lose.

APC had performed woefully in 8 years... cash scarcity, kidnappings all around elections. Even the ticket winner, Tinubu faced opposition from President, V. President, Senate President (1-3) and Party Chairman.

Yet with all these negatives against Tinubu, he still managed to beat Atiku.

And it all began from each top candidate's attitude post primaries.

Atiku started picking unnecessary and foolish fights. Tinubu went to visit EVERY single contestant in their houses. Even those who openly opposed him, even those with ZERO votes. Tinubu united all those he could, didn't respond to insults. Atiku saw factions forming and allowed them to fester.

While his opponents were insulting him personally and wasting time on useless media interviews, Tinubu was the one campaigned as if he wasn't from the ruling party. He campaigned as if he was least favoured candidate. He campaigned the hardest.

PBAT is a true leader.. Fubara went to Aso Villa and was all over the place smiling meaning they were able to reach a compromise for peace to reign in Rivers State.
The only people that have refused to align with the government of the day are the Obidients, hate is a very bad thing.
One of them already have a federal appointment.

Meanwhile the year has almost ended and, right from January, you have been on the Igbo/obidients people matter till now and you have the guts to talk about hate!
