The GSM phone system has been around in Nigeria for quite some time now. And for most people like me, we have dropped or lost some phone numbers that we were very fond of due to certain events and had to move on to another line or network.

The truth is that I have forgoten the number. But the phone was alcatel the year was 2002, I was the only student that have a phone in my department then  and one other Prof. It was my sister that send me the phone. Funny thing was that the first time I bought the line from an MTN outlet, so I gave the number to this Prof in class. so the man then call me mmediately in the class. Not knowing that I have to pick the call first before answering, I put the phone for ear when the phone was still ringing come dey shout hello, all my classmates wey no even get phone come dey laugh me, I was so embarrssed. suprisingly whn i got back to Naija and wanted to retrieve the line i was informed dat it has been sold to another person. dat after 6months of inactivity d line will be sold.
i am very suprised because i bought that line for 18k.
i insisted dat i must get the line back and i was told togo to Banana Island to make a formal complaint or better still i engage a lawyer to help me retrieve the line. Big Injustice i must say.
