Obidients and a lot of Igbo people have rocks in their brain. You can show them a breakdown of things but they only see what they want to pick and run with. What a disappointment from so called intelligent people. You people need to think and ask intelligent questions before coming online to show that you are crazy.

If you used to collect loan before which till date you are still owing the gbese. Now you no longer collect the loan and are dealing with your expenses without loan. Which savings do you have from no longer taking loan oponu?
Hmm. Unfortunately your started your rants with insult only to show that you either did not read the piece or you read but it was too tough for your mental faculty to digest.
Pity

The savings is in unnecessary cost centres not eating the money you don’t have to spend.
It is not in money saved up that you don’t spend!

Subsidy removal was to prevent further borrowings to pay for it ....it wasn't about saving money ...Government were borrowing money to pay off subsidy ...

Were you not informed that they are buying 180million vehicle to help the deliver good governance?
Were you not informed that the ”navy” are buying 5billion naira yacht to help them decorate our waterfronts?

Nigeria is moving forward in a backward slide.

I keep telling you guys that there can be no progress in this nation, as long as it is being governed by criminals.

The so-called Abacha's loot will never reach the masses... Not a dime of it! The Western nations have taken their share, and the leftovers being repatriated will be re-directed to the personal accounts of a few.

Absolutely.

No hope in sight that APC came to fix this country. It's becoming clearer now Tinubu's statement of continuing Buhari's legacies; legacies of waste, borrowing, looting and re-looting. No body cares about the poor masses

Half education is worse than illiteracy. If someone who can string words together can make this comment, I wonder what the Oshodi under bridge urchins and omoniles would say.

You're truly unintelligent, cos why does tinubu still apply for foreign loans, does he have to service debts with the entire money realized from subsidy? Your darling tinubu has applied for loans to the tune of billions since assuming power.

The promise was to invest the proceeds into other critical areas of Nigeria's infrastructure.

There was never a mention of loans. Unless this is your own perspective.

Lunatic, Nigeria has been borrowing to pay a lot of things for years. He’s still borrowing to cover those expenses. Especially like infrastructure and cost of Governance. What do they teach you people in school these days. You people lack reading, comprehension and logical reasoning. No wonder a dullard like Obi can mesmerize you with impossible speeches. In the past the money borrowed was even looted. Nigeria even has to borrow to pay back loans that have been looted. Read, open your brain and understand things before you speak. Your country is poor because of looting. Raw materials all over the world are cheap. That’s all we have. Rich countries have industries that process raw materials. We do not have any of that.

. The secret is that the money is used to get the loan one way or the other , it’s a silent deal between nigeria and foreign countries they get the loan from.
NNPC is directly or indirectly government owned, take it or leave it. Forget the privatization publicity
They see us all as mumu, we don’t react to anything they do even if them say PMS reach 2k per litre we won’t do anything we all just complain and forget about the hardship….

Go back and read about the fuel subsidy. Make sure you read and understand everything. Not reading titles of articles or from your favorite dumb commentators/influencers with agendas.

Subsidy is back. It was a foolish policy by Tinubu from day one. The price of petrol should be N1300 per ltr. Subsidy differential is over N600 per litre.
Price of petrol was N185 and they said they could not pay the subsidy any longer but only for them to still pay the subsidy of N600 per ltr after increasing price of petrol to N575 per ltr
they were paying 100% before, now they're paying 10% or 15%

Was der money for subsidy b4?
People ask unintelligent questions just for likes, politics n trash.
A man whose salary is 100k but to meet up with family will hv to borrow 20k for meat n stew every mnth.
If he decided to remove eating meat n making stew in his house.. Will u be asking him the 20k he saved wer he kpt it?
Not like the money is available or frm revenue, it's part of the reason dey keep collect loan here n der.

Ask your governors and LG chairpersons. They've largely received the savings as increased federal allocations.
It's why there seems to be project commencement and commissionings everywhere.
