Let the rich men in Igbo Land do strong agitation with wealth and resources to make Igbo Land like Johannesburg, even if Dubai may not be achieveable, then you may see different people from all over the world coming down to enjoy the place ..
Let the Igbos be educated on how to be very wealthy, how to love non-indigenes, how to treat everyone with humanity, how to be humble, how to develop the land, how not to destroy the land...
Let our struggle be in making the east si beautiful like Europe

Igbo people are not hospitable; it's not in your gene ! Even if you succeed in making your land as beautiful as Dubai, nobody will visit ! There is this one inexplicable thing, yes,it is there,in a typical Igbo, man or woman, which makes him or her an instant turnoff !

I find it quite grating that Ndigbo are supposed to be a component part of this country, yet when it comes to talk of rapid development all we hear are calls for Ndigbo to develop on their own! Where does the federal gov’t come into all this by way of investing in our region or channeling billion dollar projects and investments into the region like they do with others!

Look at the billions of dollars of federally enabled funds (a lot of which are borrowed) sunk into ‘favoured’ regions….as well as the siting of headquarters and industries of multi-national coys; railways….tracks, trains and stations; transportation university; international airports and brand new international terminals; dams; highways; IT; siting of oil and gas plants/industries and their headquarters; banks and other financial institutions headquarters; aviation and military training schools and related installations; etc! In all this and more the south-east/Ndigbo are left holding the short end of the stick while other use ‘one Nigeria’ to grab their own as well as the one of others, yet naive and trusting Igbo can’t see the blatant cheating that’s leaving them shortchanged politically, economically and militarily! Even the little oyel and gas they forgot or couldn’t manage to remove from our region…they insist on creaming off a massive 87% and grabbing all the juicy appointments in the industry while leaving us with next to nothing! Yet some people still wonder why Ndigbo are agitating for separation from Nigeria!

Are u aware that private industries can 100% choose where to site their HQ?
From what I learnt, new airport terminal was also built in Enugu.
U have had senate presidents severally, u have senators who don't care about ur development.
Places like NC are not getting huge investments, they are not moàñing like u guys, quit this vîctîm complex already.
It sucks.

The experiences are just too numerous to recount here, bro ! I always try as much as possible to avoid those people because I can't just stand some of their primitive igbotic nature ! The truth is that their villages live inside majority of them; unnecessarily loud, showy, primitive, chestbeating over nothing, etc ! You know the kind of feeling you get instantly when you see a typical village person from one sleepy, very rusty, erosion ravaged village in Alaigbo trying very hard to put on a toga of non existent superior ! Villagers who can't live in their godforsaken, cursed, tiny enclave;the night buses keep bringing them in droves from their evil region of criminals ! These are the same mofos who see themselves as a big deal; useless bunch of primitive cannibalistic villagers from hell !

First and foremost, most people who go to SE (even SEners) go out of necessity, in SE, u have to be excessively alert in everything u do so u don't get short changed, from transportation (if u are not with ur car) to lodging to buying anything, u have to look so we'll to make sure u don't get the fake of that thing.
So many things are wrong with SE but Ndigbos will leave that and blame FG.
The SE is not even united to build a prosperous city, what the SE need is a visionary leader that's highly focused on growth and seeing that kind of leader in SE is too difficult.

Since you became governor what development have you agitated from Federal government for the south east region...

Instead you keep Lickin Tinubu's @ss and romancing with APC...

Have you ever called for a construction of Railway system in the region

Have you ever agitated for another seaport in Uyo to serve the region

Have you ever called for the creation of more states in the region..

When last did you demand the region gets more appointments in the federal government

Do you know any Region in Nigeria that managed to turn their area into Dubai? Even those who have been in power for long?

Nigeria is not where anyone can turn anywhere to Dubai, Nigeria does not work

I wonder how my ‘moaning and victim-complex’ is any of your fcking business! Are you normally in the habit of engaging with people or posts you see as ‘sucking’!? If you do, doesn’t that say more about you and your attempts at trying to control and silence those you see as ‘not conforming to your own ideals or buying into your ideas of what’s right and what’s wrong’!? What gives you the right to tell someone who’s wearing the shoe and knows where it’s pinching, that he should STFU and stop ‘moaning’ because you’re getting irritated!? Your reaction is typical of that of a despot or tyrant….one who brooks no opposing views or complaints because they feel they’ve been ‘benevolent’ enough!

For decades, since the end of the uncivil war, a political-economy and structure was enthroned and sustained that disproportionately favoured the south-west/Yoruba and muslim-core-north/Hausa-Fulani over and above the 3rd leg of the tripod…the south-east/Igbo! Can you refute this claim? The minorities have equally been marginalised and treated unfairly, but in this instance i’m referring to the 3 major ethnicities as i’m sure the minorities can and should speak for themselves….that is if they feel they’re not being given a fair deal in Nigeria!

Lagos, in relation to other cities, has disproportionately been given federal advantages and attention, from the 60s to the early 90s, that now affords it the luxury to operate on its own steam! This traction it has gained administratively, diplomatically (consular and visa activities), socially (huge cosmopolitan and population advantage gained over other cities), and economically (attracting local and international businesses who normally site their headquarters in the city)….for you to claim ignorance of all this and glibly posit that private industries are free to go wherever they please, thereby implying that it’s no your fault they didn’t come to the south-east, it just speaks volumes about your sense of fairness and justice! Remember we’re talking of the same Lagos ALL Nigerians contributed to enable and grow, but whose politics, gov’t and administration Igbos’ have been warned to stay away from! This is your idea of fairness!

On the international airport terminals…Stella Odua wanted to use the same financial model of borrowing from China to finance the projects which were to be sited in Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt, Kano and Enugu. The National Assembly refused to authorise the one for Enugu…approving the ones for the other 4 cities. So the aviation ministry under Oduah was then forced to source for funds in-house to build the one for Enugu. Construction was going on at all 5 airports until Buhari took over in 2015! With his arrival, work was stopped on all the new terminals (just like work was halted on the 2nd Niger bridge), and commenced some time later (can’t remember how long this stoppage lasted for) on all but the one in Enugu. Hadi Sirika then got a extra-budgetary approval for a couple billions more that was used to expand the scope of works on the new terminals in Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt and Kano, while that for Enugu was left untouched and has remained untouched to this day….gathering dust! I’m sure this to you is ‘fair’ and any complaints any Igbo has concerning how unfairly we’ve been treated and cheated….this to you would be dismissed with a wave of the hand as ‘moaning’ and a ‘crass display of victim-complex’!

He's totally aware of the marginalisation of Igbo people in Nigeria, he'd have to be an idiot not to. He just doesn't care. No point preaching to the godless.

Ultimately, it's the governors that have the biggest responsibility, as it pertains to the wellbeing and welfare of the people. There's only so much the central government can do. That's why, despite all the advantages both the North and South-West have had, they still lag behind the East, in healthcare, education, wealth, infrastructure etc...

The only viable patch of land in the South-West is Lagos, and the North, has the most children out of school, than anywhere on the face of the earth. It also has a drug epidemic, kidnapping issue, banditry problem, education problem, and so on and so forth. So yea, Igbo people are marginalised, but Nigeria is a "federation", which means, most of the power rests with the governors, not the president. Tinubu can't turn Oyo State into Dubai, only the governor of Oyo State can.
