Human physiology is the science of the functioning of human organs and the cells that compose them. Human physiology studies the mechanical, physical, and biochemical functions that determine the health of an individual. While anatomy studies form, physiology is the study of function.

Physiology studys of normal function within living creatures. It is a sub-section of biology, covering a range of topics that include organs, anatomy, cells, biological compounds, and how they all interact to make life possible.

There 4 types of physiology
1. Histology- It refers to the study of tissues and their functions.

2.Cellular physiology- It refers to the study of various cell activities.

3. Organ physiology- It refers to the study of the heart and circulatory system.

4. Systemic physiology- Refers to the study of specific organ systems and their functions.

There is a pattern with which living organisms function, that is, the chemistry and physics behind basic body functions. from how molecules behave in cells to how systems of organs work together.

It helps us understand what happens in a healthy body in everyday life and what goes wrong when someone gets sick.
