Soldiers sees another soldier doing wrong...he may just correct and let it slide. But when other forces see their colleague doing wrong...they tend to want to probe. So Soldiers carry that esprit du Corps mentality everywhere...they expect you to corporate with them, and let them enjoy the benefits of being a soldier. They have this thwarted mentality that they are suffering in the bushes every night for our sake, so we owe them some form of gratitude. They have lived together in the jungle, and passed thru so much together...so they have more communal tolerance to each other's nonsense. Other forces on the other hand, mingle with the civilians...so they have a broader view on life and rights. The military have refused to adapt to civility...every other bloody civilian can take that shit from them, but a uniformed personnel in another force, will not let them get away with it. You see the way FBI kinda likes playing God in American movies, that's same way the Soldiers like playing God over other armed forces wing. By jurisdiction, on a public road, the police has lead...no other force can override them...unfortunately, Soldiers no dey hear word. Na those wrong mindsets dem dey use do morale...if you take that away, some of them will leave the force. They are not community minded, they joined the military for power! |
