The bible answers most questions about good and bad but there seems to be some areas where the bible is silent or not perfectly clear.
Here are a few examples.
1. Slavery
2. War crimes
3. Gambling
4. Consumption of intoxicants
You can add to the list.
What do you think.

Go and study your Bible very well. Love is the summary of it all.

Where love is abundant those vices you mentioned will expire.

Not really sir. Many of the vices mentioned above were practiced in bible times. The apostles even casted lots? The moral question of gambling was not addressed.
Again questions like marrying underaged was never addressed in the bible.

Does the bible teach against marrying minors?
Did christians in other centuries marry girls younger than 18? Is it immoral to do so?

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.John 3:16

This answers it all but unless true disciples of Christ TEACH you there's no way you can grasp what is happening.

From Genesis to Revelations no human qualifies for everlasting life except Jesus of Nazareth so even though many will be resurrected during Christ's thousand years reign they must become perfect like Jesus before they can be granted everlasting life in Paradise {Revelations 20:5-6} only BORN AGAIN Christians are free from accusations as they will no longer live in the flesh as humans but they will be transformed into angels! Luke 20:34-36
Slavery
War Crimes
Gambling
Marrying underage
Jesus never got involved in any of these, as for intoxicants it's never a sin unless taking excessively.

Is it ok to take cocaine if not taking excessively?
Also, did the bible ever condemn Slavery, Gambling or underage marriage?

Cocaine was discovered for a purpose but it's those abusing it that's wrong not the product on its own.
tctrills:

All these are the result of rebellion against God so he never set rules regarding it until Jesus came and began living his life free from slavery, gambling and underage marriage.
Note that Jesus never handled money throughout his earthly ministry.
Do you why?
It's because those three you mentioned above comes from the use of money Jesus never had a slave because he didn't have any money to buy one so he does everything all by himself.
He never gambled because he doesn't want to have anything to do with greed.
He never married because marriage belongs only to those who knows the purpose of marriage not just anyone. His life will soon end and he must return to his abode so there's no one to whom he will shift the responsibility.

Just continue studying Jesus you will understand so many things about God's will for mankind. Hebrews 12:2

So you will take cocaine as long as you don't over do it ok.
As for underaged marriage, you claim it's as a result of rebellion against God, do you have that written in your scripture or is it a personal opinion?
And how do you know that Jesus never handled money, that again is your opinion.
One can also say that Timothy never handled money or Thomas never handled money. Unless it's revealed, you are only expressing an opinion not a truth.

If everyone is living fine as in OK do you think someone will give out his underage daughter in marriage? There must be mutual agreement between the two before marriage so both must have become adults! 1Corinthians 7:36-39
According to what happened in the ministry Jesus kept the money bag with Judas Iscariot {John 12:6} and when he was caught unaware to pay the temple tax he told his disciples to go and get a fish then use the money found in the mouth of the fish to pay. Of course Jesus doesn't handle money otherwise he will have something in his pocket to pay that's why he referred to money as unrighteous Mammon. Luke 16:9

Please explain how this helps your point. Still I disagree with you. We have examples of wealthy princesses marrying at the age of 14. So it's not about poverty.

His disciples did not have money in their pocket at that time either, does that mean that they too did not handle money. Just because one doesn't have money at a particular time is no argument that he has never handled money.
If Jesus Christ did not touch money because it was unrighteous, why would he ask his disciples to handle it for him? How does that make sense. If you stay away from unrighteousness, would you ask your children to handle the unrighteousness on your behalf?

The bible answered slavery
God never approved slavery which is why He was the first to free slaves eg if a slave escapes do not return him. Deuteronomy 23:15. And abolish it by making Laws which strangle slavery
e.g.
2) Leviticus 25:17 "Ye shall not therefore oppress one another; but thou shalt fear thy God:"

3) Exodus 23:9 "Thou shalt not oppress a stranger:

4) Exodus 20:21 "Thou shalt neither vex a stranger nor oppress him:

5) Exodus 20:22 "ye shall not afflict ...a fatherless child".

6) Exodus 23:2 "Thou shalt not follow a multitude to do evil:"

7) Exodus 23:6 "Thou shalt not wrest the judgement of thy poor in his cause"

Which is why you do not see any jew keeping a slave by the time David became king.

It also answered war crimes Deuteronomy 20 and 21.

And for gambling Proverbs 13:11/ 16/8

The bible does answer all.

Let's talk about slavery,
Please read Numbers 31:17
17 Now therefore kill every male among the little ones, and kill every woman that hath known man by lying with him.

So we are saying the same thing right? The men of Israel were instructed to share the virgin children among themselves or isn't that what happened?

Oga we all need to fear God and repent of our sins but it's clear you don't know the meaning of blasphemy. Quoting from the bible is not blasphemy. The problem with you the average Nairaland christian is that you don't read your Bible. You depend on your pastor to tell you what's in the book then you come here to insult people who actually study their bible and expose your stupidity.
If you want to discuss the bible, great let's have it but don't pretend to have a moral superiority when in reality you are an empty barrel.

I advise you to go offline for 6 months and spend that time studying your Bible. I promise you will return a better man.
