Despite the initial concern about Ododo not reaching the 25% threshold in the announced six local governments in Igala land, there is a compelling argument to suggest that Ododo could still be declared the winner. The key lies in considering the broader picture of the entire Kogi State and the requirement to meet the 25% threshold in at least two-thirds of the local governments. While Ododo may not have achieved the required support in the six announced local governments in Igala land, there is an opportunity for him to secure the necessary votes in other parts of Kogi State. If he can garner sufficient support in the remaining local governments, it is plausible that he may meet the 25% threshold in at least two-thirds of the total local governments across the state. This perspective highlights the importance of a comprehensive analysis of the electoral landscape beyond specific regions. It acknowledges that the electoral outcome is contingent on the overall support Ododo receives across the entire Kogi State, providing a more optimistic outlook for his potential victory despite the initial challenges in Igala land. 1 Like |

Yes, he can't be declare winner. But you blindly wanted Obi to be declared winner despite the fact that he doesn't secured the highest valid votes cast nor scored 25% in 2/3 of the states of the federation and FCT. What a hypocrite. 3 Likes |

yarimo:It has already been explained to you that what you are saying is not true. If you insist on going down this path you are no better than those silly Obidients that did not let us rest in 2023, trying to change the rules after losing woefully. Ododo needs to get 25% in at least 14 LGs or we have a rerun. Simple. 2 Likes |

I mean if they were serious just take a look at what SDP is doing in Kogi state without making any noise..serious politicking, not people threatening us online and telling us how to think. Re: Why ODODO Can Not Be Decleared Winner by AndroBlaze: 9:22pm On Nov 12, 2023 |
yarimo: Yarimo, getting 359 more votes than someone those not negate the 25% spread rule. Tinubu is president in this country currently because he was popular all over the country, while Obi is not because he felt he only needed Christians, and apparently we Christians are all suppose to think like sheep!! The 2/3 25% rule, ensures spread, even though from what I can see in Kogi, it seems the Igalas can hold anyone hostage, which looks counter productive. |
Re: Why ODODO Can Not Be Decleared Winner by yarimo(m): 9:25pm On Nov 12, 2023 |
AndroBlaze:You are not communicating, TAMBUWAL was declared winner with simple majority of valid votes cast nothing like 25% |
Re: Why ODODO Can Not Be Decleared Winner by yarimo(m): 9:30pm On Nov 12, 2023 |
joyandfaith:what can you say , when in 2019 INEC declared the former governor of sokoto state TAMBUWAL as governor with only 359 votes ahead of his APC rival without anything like 25% |
Re: Why ODODO Can Not Be Decleared Winner by AndroBlaze: 9:35pm On Nov 12, 2023 |
yarimo:You are not listening. Here is the link for the 2019 Sokoto governorship results. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/2019_Sokoto_State_gubernatorial_election#:~:text=The%202019%20Sokoto%20State%20gubernatorial,and%20several%20minor%20party%20candidates. Tambuwal got higher than 25% in all the 23 local government areas in the state individually. So did the APC candidate who lost by only 359 votes like you pointed out. The same thing repeated itself between PDP and APC in Sokoto in 2023 if I am correct. Thats one of the easy ways you can tell an election between gentlemen that was not rigged. Unlike the results we saw from the developers in the South East where Obi ensured neither Atiku nor Tinubu got 25% in any state. Elupeeeeee the national party!!!! 2 Likes 1 Share |

Re: Why ODODO Can Not Be Decleared Winner by AndroBlaze: 9:44pm On Nov 12, 2023 |
