People don't understand the metaphysical nature of the bible. The concept of trinity means that an entity has to be split into three to access it's core essence, the first aspect is the entity itself and the second aspect is the angelic portal within that entity and the third aspect is the demonic portal within that entity and that is the trinity.

So presented on the cross was the entity called Jesus Christ who is an ascended higher morality and spiritually superior being and on his left hand side is the same entity but the demonic portal within that entity that is responsible for the fall from grace. It is through this portal that demonic entities invade the being and steal your glory hence why it's called the thief. This the portal through which demons come in and tempt you so as to steal your glory when you fall. But it is an aspect of the same entity called Jesus Christ and when the test is over which that whole being on the cross with a crown of thorns is symbolic of a fall from grace and wandering through the wilderness , when the test is over that demonic portal would be bound and closed when the entity ascends to his higher self

Then the third entity is the right hand path entity portal where righteous angels guide the path to righteousness . This portal is the one that will stay open when the entity ascends hence the saying today you will be with me in glory because that portal is the connection between the entity and his higher self as well as connection to source and connection to archangels and angels
