1. Increased awareness and education: Educating the general public about the risks and red flags of internet fraud can help them to recognize and avoid scams.

2. Collaboration between law enforcement agencies and internet service providers: Coordinated efforts between the police and internet service providers can lead to more effective monitoring and tracking of fraudulent activities.

3. Strengthening of cybersecurity measures: Individuals and organizations can protect themselves from cyber threats by using strong and secure passwords, regularly updating their software, and investing in reliable antivirus and anti-malware programs.

4. Consumer protection laws and regulations: Implementing and enforcing strict consumer protection laws can serve as a deterrent to internet fraudsters and provide recourse for victims.

5. International cooperation: Given that internet fraud often transcends national borders, collaboration with international law enforcement agencies can be crucial in preventing and prosecuting offenders.

6. Financial institutions should implement advanced fraud detection systems and monitor customer transactions for suspicious activities.

7. Engaging with the public: Holding workshops, seminars, and public campaigns to increase awareness and prompt citizens to be more cautious and proactive in protecting themselves from internet fraud.

8. Empowering the judiciary system: Ensuring that the legal system is equipped to effectively prosecute internet fraudsters and deliver swift and appropriate punishment to serve as a deterrent to others.

Your article is only focused on how to force them to stop. You completely neglected steps to take inorder to ensure that they dont return with more clever ways to evade the authorities or venture into more dangerous crimes.

Top on the list of things you mentioned there should be JOBS. If there are no jobs, the authorities will only be wasting their time.
