This your proposition make great sense too. This is a good approach.

Permit me to say that no administration governing Nigeria of today would want this, it can only be achieved when CDAs and trade unions form a coalition that could give birth to something similar to the Chinese Communist Party.

There would now be the possibility of an emerging leader who is well accepted by all and ruthless to the enemies of the coalition...

Do you think we "lazy youths" can achieve this?

Lastly, this guy was responding to a guy asking “What can be done to stop tribalism in Nigeria and the context is cod of Lagos election”.

If you are a half Yoruba, whether on mom or dad side and you swore your allegiance and portray mostly your non-Yoruba side, you will NEVER be elected in Yorubaland even if your father is the Alaafin.

Ibos crying about Lagos should find better thing to expend their time to because Shinedu or anyone toiling his path will NEVER govern that state.
some how you found a way to squeeze in igbos in your bigot. It's funny that you do not know that you have a major problem. Better see a psychiatrist. Because your problem is getting. Worse

I always laugh at folks trying to end tribalism or hiding under the usual “Politician are dividing us” jargons to blame Nigeria issue on politicians.

All tribes are tribalistic. Both minority and majority, but the problem is that those that are somehow independent of another tend to be bold in showing their own tribalism.

Those that are dependent are always scared of showing their tribalism which explained why some tribe will say they are less tribalistic and some are more tribalistic. There is nothing called less or more tribalistic, you can either be tribalistic or not.

If we divide Nigeria today into major tribes and let’s say we have 10 countries for example. People within those tribe will then fragment themselves into clans and the struggle of clannish continue. Check state governorship election, it’s always a game of clans within a tribe.

You can only have peace if you divide Nigeria totally by clans. Then at that stage, you’re looking at 5k individual states.

However, dividing Nigeria into major zones with tribal realignment to their zone will help a bit. At least we will have the clan problem which will be at a lesser impact compared to tribe issue.

ONLY foolish Yoruba still talk about meritocracy and fight against tribalism.

That's why I love what Tinubu is doing so much

tribalism is an igbo, Yoruba and hausa thing. Yoruba and igbo comes first in tribalism. Don't try to generalise it. Those small tribes are not dependent on igbo or Yoruba. Rather it is the majority tribes that depends on oil money and food produced by minorities in the south south and north central for survival. It is the majority that is leeching on the minority tribes
More so, there is no state in south east, south west or north that Haas ever allowed an ijaw, urhobo, Ibibio, Benin, eket, calabar etc to emerge a VC, CMD or head of a federal govt establishment there in the last 40 years. But I can tell you several yorubas and igbos that have been head of NNPC, Universities, hospitals, govt agencies here in the south south for the last 40 years and still currently. That we are tolerant doesn't mean we are ignorant of the stupid behavior of the average Yoruba or igbo man. The Yoruba and igbo are the two tribes that hate each other most in Nigeria because they have thesame intolerance, tribalism and dominance. The fact that you are allowed to head a company in the south south then you go to Yoruba land to employ all the staff for the following year. It's only in south south that happens in Nigeria. It is for this kind of behavior, the yorubas hate igbos, and igbos hate Yoruba too for thesame behavior. Yorubas fought igbos last election because they are afraid if Gbadebo becomes Lagos governor, his igbo wife will bring igbos to pick up contracts & appointments meant for Yoruba. I hope this helps you understand why igbo and Yoruba hate other is that each try to outsmarted the local community by bringing their tribe only to get the available jobs, contracts, appointment when you allow them. Both tribe think they are smart or overwise. The South South is aware of all these. That's why in the event of a breakup, we do not support joining oduduwa or Biafra - both share thesame evil genes of displacing the local people by bringing their tribesmen and denying indigenes of the host community jobs once allowed. And because it is what they do, they never allow other tribes to rise to management level in their own land - so that they won't have to employ even one person from another tribe. This strategy is what Igbos and yorubas used to hijack the oil industry from the south southern people who were originally the first set of employees

Don't try to make yourself feel good by bringing the south south or minorities to the debased level of the Yoruba, igbo or Fulani that destroyed Nigeria. Igbo feels they are wise, yorubas feel they are wise. Both set suffer from low self esteem and come here to do nonsense bragging as if those who don't talk don't see

You are spot on. The Berlin conference and colonialism messed up Africa. It divided brothers and sisters in a very bleeped up way. The French, English or German can NEVER share a country, yet they want Africans like Nigerians to live together in harmony.

Gyakie below is a Ghanaian musician. The title of her song in Akan is the same as Yoruba. When "The Yorubas" was tending in TikTok, a lot of Benin Republic Yorubas joined their kith and kins in SW Nigeria to help trend the videos.
Interesting

Who's Chinedu?
Rhodes-vivor, an original blood of Lagos is who you call Chinedu?
Well.

On the Igbo agenda, I also think any person that has the capacity to take Lagos to a greater height, should go to his own place, and people- and go develop there.

We need them in Igbo land...please come home and build...leave Lagos administration, if lagos is not your country home.

It's not about having igbo mother or not. If you make reasonable contribute to the development of Igbo community you will be accepted there
It's everywer but d qstn u shld ask ursef if truly Igbos are acceptable.. Out of the 3 majoy tribes why do Igbo land have less none Igbos wt investment, land or made it big.
I hv nvr heard a single celeb/business person who is Yoruba or Hausa who made it out frm der.

Exactly, Shinedu should be voted as Anambra governor. I am very sure he will do wonders.

Why do you think we have been standing beside Peter Obi and his agenda for a better Nigeria.

He had good records as a governor...let's have more of them come home to serve, to build and to develop.

Go and do your research well.
Go to Nnewi, Emeka offor, Andy Uba and Co...there have been indigenous brands that have come out of The east.
They don't make noise coz they all have the same plenty money...so, no bragging right.
Tummy-Tummy noodles, the better option to all the foreign options is produced and distributed from Anambra state.

Before Cubana show himself, you believe say men dey wey carry that kind weight?!

The land is too locked for all of us to compete...Igbos like exploring opportunities...we no get that tight communal clannish ideologies anymore.
We see the world global.
People go abroad without any plans of ever coming back.
Nothing like "home" again.
Anywhere you see peace, you live...you keep touch, you die in the pursuit...anyway the tide turns, everyone already knows they're on their own.
We're born Adventurers.

Money full the town...we just no dey loud am coz of jealous people.

Learn from the Arewa people...you don't know their names in public spaces, but you see them flaunt Abuja wealth with reckless abandon.

When everybody be millionaire, na only billionaires we dey celebrate.
So what you see, depends on your own level...in parallel to what you're seeing.

Hahahahahhahahhaa

Guy, you dey cap.
Why are you excluding the North?

I served in Bayelsa State.
Ijaw man just hated my guts.

Buh that aside, you as a Nigerian, don't you want to have a seat at the governanceof a country you also belong too?

Why then were we amalgamated?
What's the consensus on Federal character and true federalism.

Is this the Founding ideologies of our early leaders?

Every tribe is raping the economy...and unfortunately, they are using us to achieve these evil acts.

The law is no longer our footstool.
No one respects the court.
Armed forces are the real fools.

Civilians steal from the country, and they order you- a uniformed personnel that has a gun, to go and kill armless, tired, exhausted, depressed, economically disadvantaged fellow country men.
You carry your gun...to kill for a Civilian.
Nobody is threatening you or your family o, but you allow a fool, stealing your future, to give you order to kill your own innocent brothers and sisters.
Fela called them Zombie.

Are you human or have you been made into a beast...like what we see in those sci-fi movies.

Even Oyibo get racists community.
Tribalism is not a Nigerian thing.
Different tribes and ethnic groups still fight each other all around the world.

What we're saying, is we either split, or we all respect the constitution.

He is right. Nigeria needs to be broken down into several pieces. As a Yorubaman, I am more related to a Yoruba from Benin Republic or even a Yoruba as far away as Ghana, but I am being forced to share a nation with Someone from the Sahel or someone more related to the camerounians.

He even confirmed in a post that even though he would be accepted by his igbos in Nnewi, he won't be accepted by other Igbos outside Nnewi.

Like hungry tigers, the Igbos will be the first to tear themselves into shreds after they get biafra. They hate themselves, not to talk of outsiders.
