This complicated. Musicians spoilt the market for themselves by tipping DJs and media houses to play their songs. The supposed seller pays the supposed buyer just to fake streaming. The bribery turned the entertainment world upside-down as stations that should pay for using songs now think using the songs is a favour to artistes.

But what is the English translation of "Daga Bakin Mai Ita"? Is the meaning derogatory?

From the mouth of the owner (meaning)

A whole BBC should know a thing or two about copyright infringement. They should run him his cash sharp sharp
Even if they know, they feel this is Africa, lawless continent where anything happens and nothing happens.

BBC is ironclad when it comes to lawsuits. Most British institutions are. At worst, they will blame the gaffe on their Nigerian team. If for any reason they will pay the singer, the amount will go no higher than two million Naira. That is mere chicken change to the corporation.

Just read the crap. BBC should settle amicably.
I won't say cos the north are nuts and support oyinbo against my fellow black.
Meanwhile, that aboki musician wan open suya spot cos I know that song no really be hit. If so, I go don hear am.
I listen to lots of northern music.

That's what the guy is saying...
Him never blow with the music...yet BBC is using it for their program...not even free airplay, they cut a clip and infuse in their program...that's utility.

According to the musician, he said because BBC is using it for their program, it might be misconstrued that he is the one using the song to trend...you know people no really rate you if you no get original sound.
BBC is tainting his career.
BBC is also getting utility from the music for free....no no..dey should pay...or give him atleast free three month airplay on their BBC Hausa station

Like to say "from the horses mouth". Its direct translation is: from the owner's mouth.
