What I've seen in Obidients so far is a desperation to make Obi president. As it stands now, that is impossible. The best bet is to go through the same route Tinubu did by pairing with a northerner as Vice. No big northern politician will be ready to play Vice to an Igbo. That's just the reality.
But I'm not sure Obi has time on his side given his age. Really, most Nigerians should start looking at voting only those from 65 years and below in presidential elections. All these gerontocrats are just wasting our time and resources.
