A WIN NOT CELEBRATED IS A LOSS WORSE THAN LOSS.

1. Yesterday, the Court of Appeal affirmed the election of BOS as the Governor of Lagos, the commercial capital of Nigeria, and nobody is interested in the news, except the individual beneficiaries and perhaps their close allies.

2. Meanwhile, at Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, during the All Nigeria Editors Conference, President Tinubu pleaded with Nigeria media to present positive image about Nigeria in order to attract foreign investment in Nigeria. One wonders the image he wants the media to present. The image he himself has battered!

3. When Tinubu was declared the winner of the February 25 Presidential election, Nigerians didn’t celebrate. When the Presidential election Petition Tribunal upheld his INEC’s declaration, Nigerians were sad. When the Supreme Court affirmed the decision of the #PEPC, Nigeria although already expecting the injustice, were further saddened. Only Tinubu and his direct beneficiaries whom he told, “your job is secured” celebrated the news of the supreme Court judgement.

4. Hope Uzodimma scored 100% win of the 27 LGA in Imo State but no Imo indigene is happy. There was not celebration as the whole saw in the neighbouring State Abia when Alex Otti was announced winner of election in that State earlier in the year.

5. In Kogi State, only Yahaya Bello and his anointed son whom INEC announced winner celebrate the election.

6. Now, Tinubu is junketing the globe seeking and shopping for relevance but keeps getting subtle rebuffs. While he was in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Nigerians visiting the Kingdom had their visas cancelled and deported back to Nigeria.

7. If any Nigerian especially those still promoting Tinubu is still expecting that the narrative will change, the person had better think again.

8. As far as Nigerians are concerned the man occupying the highest seat in the land lost the election even if as it stands, he’s declared winner. As a matter of fact, it would have been more honourable to him that he was declared a loser. That would have been better than the current loss he experiences both at home and abroad, for a win not celebrated is a loss worse than loss.

9. When Nigeria wins, Nigerians will celebrate, and the world will know. For now, let those who celebrate loss, feed on its fat.

10. Whether they like it or not, Nigeria will eventually be redeemed by Nigerians. Heavens have marked it; the date is fixed. A date that will take the thieves of Nigeria political leadership like a thief in the night.

Let’s be going first.

Just like the dark days of PDP, APC is only interested in making things darker

I remember when they announced me the DSP in secondary school and everywhere was quiet unlike when they they announced the SP and some others. I felt very bad. Yes I was smart, very intelligent, the youngest in my set but didn't have the charisma and was never prepared for the post of DSP. I was so incompetent and didn't know where to start that I went to the principal to tell him to please give the post to someone else. The man was very gentle enough to guide me. May God rest his soul. 2023 elections reminded me of that incident about students not celebrating my nomination as DSP.

When Saudi Arabia beat Argentina you could see the celebration because they did unimaginable thing but can Argentina jubilate so much if the results was in favor of Argentina. You expected Sanwo Olu and APC to go on a wide jubilation because they retain the power they have held onto since 1999. There will always be a wide jubilation when there is a change of government anyway.

Can you compare the type of jubilation when Buhari won GEJ in 2015 to when he retains power in 2019. You guys should change your mindset from this jubilation of a thing as it's mostly for noise making people. You expect people to start jubilating when they are not surprised with the outcome.
Heal yourself of the election lost and be rational for once.

the are very shallow.
Who throw party for a Child who is always taking first from Primary 1 when he take first in Primary 3 second term!

Is like Brazil throwing party because they won Namibia in world cup group stage!

Nobody celebrate a win they are used to winning all the time.

The same reason the first day a lady allow u to sleep with her is more unique than all the ones that come after!

when ambode was kicked out for not playing the game by the power that be, a lot of lagosians were not happy, true winning is in your people accepting and celebrating you, we don’t expect Sanwolu or APC to celebrate power retention because the system was flawed in their favor but rather we expected the people to celebrate on their behalf

When Buhari came in, being the first time a sitting president will be voted out, Nigerians jubilated widely because Nigerians had hope things will “change” for Good, alas they were disappointed at the outcome of buharis first tenure to the point many Nigerians profusely apologized to Jonathan and asked him to come back, except you started following Nigerias politics in 2019 you will agree with me that Nigerians wanted buhari out but APC wanted by force.

I mean the very indices buhari and tinubu used to campaigner againts Jonathan are the same indices,(worser) buhari left for tinubu, recently tinubus henchmen came out to say they met a bastardized economy and govt, whose fault?

Nigerians know better, even tinubu know buhari whom he helped clinched the power is nothing to write home about, and he doesn’t rig the election by any means possible he can never be the president

A win by an incumbent hardly enjoy wild jubilation anywhere in the world.

how wild was the jubilation when Soludo won Anambra election with APGA? How wild was the Jubilation when Makinde of PDP won Oyo 2nd term election ? How wild was the celebration when diri of PDP won 2nd term last week in Bayelsa?

In Nigeria, tinubu, who came third was declared by inec as winner of presidential election, in imo and kogi, uzomma and ododo, who both came third were declared by inec as winners in their governorship election, so what will prompt Nigerians to celebrate, what?
Already one agbadorian is giving useless football comparison as if Nigerians are fools,
In the Lagos he's giving comparison with, labour party won the presidential election, but the margin was reduced by the massive rigging unleashed by APC, this prompted the desperation during governorship election, that led to the profiling of an ethnic group and any educated, clean, good looking, well dressed and wealthy looking Nigerian, mostly prevented from voting, just to make sure that majorly uninformed miscreants and illiterate people's vote makes the win, yet they lost, but used inec to do their abracadabra, who celebrate such nansence, SMH!!!

When LP win in Abia there was jubilation every where.... But can you say the same about PDP retaining the governor seats in Enugu and Rivers state?
In 2020 when APC win Bayelsa state there was jubilation in the whole state, but the moment the Supreme court install the PDP what did you get if not protest and chaos..... So Appeal Court ruling in favour of APC in lagos is not a new thing and those close to the Governor will celebrate it....

We are all political animals. Celebration is not only about going out making noise around. Some of us jubilated moderately and moved on with our lifes when court affirmed Sanwo Olu victory but it be callous of us considering the present economic situation to start doing unnecessary jubilation when they are yet to get it right in terms of governance

I woke up at 4am just to listen to INEC declare my preferred candidate as the winner of the presidential election.

I was very happy I awakened at the right time to hear the victory declaration 10mins after.

It was a culmination of a story that had began many years ago, with dedication, patience, and loyalty.

Slowly but surely, Bola Tinubu plotted his way to the Presidency, despite all the obstacles over the years, including the ones put on his way by his own party and the Buhari government.

Interesting human specie, in the same comment, you stated "it be callous of us considering the present economic situation" again you stated "when they are yet to get it right in terms of governance"
that is, you accepted by default that same set of APC politicians laid waste to the economy and failed in every facet of governance for eight years running, but according to your post you went ahead and celebrated their win in court by these statement "some of us jubilated" ie, including you that is posting here.
Now that's an interesting admission, from an educated person, which leaves me more confused, the question is, WHAT EXACTLY IS THIS JUBILATION FOR? So in your wisdom and intelligence, the best you can do to a manager who laid waste to your company, is to celebrate and reward him with continuity, what specie of human does that.
