President Bola Tinubu will on Saturday, depart Abuja for Berlin, Germany, to attend the G20 Compact with Africa (CwA) Conference on November 20, 2023, hosted by German Chancellor, Olaf Scholz.

This was disclosed in a statement on Friday by Chief Ajuri Ngelale, the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity.

During the conference, Tinubu will join other Heads of State and Governments of CwA member countries, bilateral partners, as well as Heads of International Organizations to deliberate on the immediate enhancement of economic and business cooperation to outline concrete measures to boost investments in critical areas such as energy, trade, infrastructure and new technologies, among others.

Given his globally recognized drive for foreign direct investment in Nigeria, the Nigerian leader will sustain the momentum and advance the mission further as he leads Nigeria’s delegation to participate in the investment summit.

This visit also affirms Tinubu’s commitment to diplomatic reciprocity as the invitation to Germany is being honoured following the visit of the Chancellor to Abuja and Lagos, Nigeria, in October 2023.

.ng reports that the President will be accompanied by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Amb. Yusuf Tuggar; the Coordinating Minister of the Economy and Minister of Finance, Mr. Wale Edun; the Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Dr. Doris Uzoka-Anite; and the Minister of Power, Chief Adebayo Adelabu.

i'm starting to believe these countries keep inviting these leaders so that they dont stay in their countries and focus on development, the constant ups and downs is a financial burden.

It is almost 6 months into four years term, we are still waiting for President Tinubu's economic plan for our dwindling economy? Even the agriculture that is the low-hanging fruit is yet to get a boost.

Economic diplomacy is good. Foreign investors that make and take out their profits is not bad. But the building blocks of any economy remains the SMEs and local industries. They need presidential attention too badly.

By the way is that colorfully packaged Renewed Hope Manifesto a mere ploy to hoodwink? What is happening?

The same election losers who were wailing that our darling President was too old and weak to carry out the functions of his office, are the ones still crying that he is travelling around the world with the zeal and strength of a fox grin

He doesn't need to sit his ass here 247. That's why we have ministers to support him.

G20 Compact with Africa (CwA) is holding and you expect the President of the giant of Africa to send a delegate. I don't think you understand international Politics.
