The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Offa local government of Kwara State, under the chairmanship of Hon. Mubashiru Jide Jatto inaugurated new nominated members to fill the various vacant position in the executive at all level within the local government.

The inauguration which took place at the party Secretariat, Itafa Area, on Saturday 18th of November, 2023.

It was witnessed by party stakeholders and members across the 12 political ward which includes the CWC of each ward.

It will be recalled that some of party executives announced their withdrawal of membership from the party after the last general elections where some of them believed the party has lost her stand by losing to the incumbent ruling party APC.

Meanwhile, the commitment shown by the loyal party members encouraged the party leadership to re-strategized on operations which gave an opportunity for members who are more competent to be nominated by the ward leaders of the party to fill various vacant post.

Among the vacant positions are ;
1. Secretary which was previously occupied by Hon. Muftau Adeyemoh but now hold by Hon Kamil Oyedeji from the same Essa C ward
2. Youth leader which was previously occupied by Hon. Mohammed Niyi Nurudeen and now given to Yusuf Alabi Abiodun-Adegoolu from same Shawo Central
3. PRO position was zone to Shawo South West to respect equity and fairness in position sharing where Suleiman Ajisafe got support of his ward leaders
4. Mrs Balikis Iyabo Yunusa is to replace Alh. Kehinde Yusuf of ojomu central B ward who held the position of Ex-officio until he left the party after the general elections.
However, the party chairman Hon Jide Jatto while addressing party members present direct the ward executive to go and replicate the same process at their various ward where vacancies open in the executive. He further thank the stakeholders and the executive for their cooperation in the runnings of party affairs.

Hon Jatto advised that members should remain focus and "be ready to welcome those that left the party at the trying time because where they are currently is not a comfortable zone that can habit them."

Among the stakeholders present are; Hon. Muraina Ayanwola, Alhaji Olayinka and all the local executives of the party in Offa LG.
