Oya please bring the evidence that he is a fake person. It is sheer stupidity on your part if you are making allegations and you cannot bring evidence to back up your allegations. If you know you cannot stomach your statements being scrutinized to show if they are true or not, the wise thing for you to do is to Shut up.

If the writer had said Tinubu rigged the election, then I would have understood where he was coming from and going to! What does the writer mean but he lost Kano, Kaduna and kastina? What does he mean by loosing the NE? Or loosing Lagos and Osun? This write-up is trash! Oga! Tinubu won the election, that's all that matters. It's not about winning any state but winning Nigeria. Those that won the NE, SS, SE, where are they? Rubbish.

But it should then have made prospective declarations that would safeguard the integrity of future presidential elections and recommended a constitutional change requiring all presidential election petitions to be concluded before a president is sworn into office.

Very entertaining article.

Still does not change the FACT that President Tinubu won the election at the ballots and was also UNANIMOUSLY affirmed winner by the courts. That spells LEGITIMACY in my books.

It really does not matter how many articles written or #NotmyPresident posts on social media. He most likely will be in charge for the next 4 years. We all need to support him to take our nation forward and stop whining.

It took your so long to open up on this issues, very unserious type of attitude that dwell in some of us, yet we want the best for our country while some lawyers who sworn to defend the constitution of this country colluded with politicians to bend the laws and give them free landing to go away with criminal activities it’s a shame I can’t live in that country anymore 200m+ people we can’t stand up for what’s right instead allow some few individuals hijacked the country from our hands and start using it for their own personal gain… it will take centuries to undo the damages meted on this country

We didn't see this epistle when judiciary sacked the Governor, Deputy, National Assembly members and other elected members of APC in Zamfara State and declared PDP members as winners or when judiciary sacked the Governor and his deputy of APC in Bayelsa State and declared PDP members as winners.
Losers just like to wail.

Why spend so much ink claiming Tinubu didn't win without providing any convincing arguments or fact how he lost and one of the 2 major opponents won at the ballot?

Many claim irregularities, but they happened only where BAT won not where their candidates won. Strange.

You also only need to look at the pleadings of the opponents at the courts to see that even they did not invest their efforts arguing the results but seeking disqualification

Its funny seeing those acting all objective and non-partisan or sentimental wallow in what they accused others of.

Democracy is a fraud In Nigeria. The same Soyinka is now a mindless supporter of the drug Baron. The presidential elections had been concluded before that nonsense that Inec conducted. Tribalism is what has killed Nigeria and the political class will always use it against us. The north has been in power for so long but tell me how that benefited the ordinary citizens of the north? Obasanjo was president but he never showed favoritism for his people even though he is virtually the best amongst the failures that have replaced him.
Nigeria is on a long thing because everyone wants power to favour himself and his cronies. Ordinary people of Nigeria will always be at the receiving end of those criminals that have grabbed and are holding the nation to ransome.

That the election is questioned does not make Peter Obi, number 3, the winner. Or where do you place Atiku who came second?

Racoon:
So a whole literary icon of Prof Wole Soyinka can write a true satirical story about the dubious and fraudulent 2023 presidential election yet have the audacity to call Peter Obi a fraud? Omase o! This is the double face of hypocrisy.

Truth is really sacrosanct. You can never diminish or add to the solemn truth. No amount of hypocrisy, bare shamelessness or twisting can ever change the truth.

"But it should then have made prospective declarations that would safeguard the integrity of future presidential elections and recommended a constitutional change requiring all presidential election petitions to be concluded before a president is sworn into office"

Racoon, I've been stressing the bolded for a very long time.
The constitution should be amended, all forms of litigation should be sorted out before swearing-in anyone. The 90 days interval prior to the swearing is a enough for all forms of litigation to be sorted out.
Expecting to remove a sitting president through the court is a huge joke and laughable.

Which president has ever had legitimacy in the eyes of his or her opponents?

Yaradua government never had legitimacy in the eyes of buhari and his supporters

Shagari presidency never had legitimacy in the eyes of Awolowo and Azikwe

Obasanjo presidency never had legitimacy in the eyes of olu falae,Gani fawehinmi and buhari

Even GEJ never believed buhari won in 2015

So ATIKU and OBI and their emotional supporters like Olu Fasano and headless mobs and nattering nitwit will not be different.

THE FACT REMAINS HE IS THE OFFICIAL PRESIDENT OF NIGERIA AND RECOGNIZED BY THE WORLD.

EVEN BIDEN AND THE WORLD DONT GIVE A DAMN ABOUT WHAT TRUMP AND SUPPORTERS THINK!

I agree with you completely. Two factors are considered to declare who wins a presidential election. Total majority votes (and not who led in a particular state) and 25% of (36+1) states. It is complete trash and an attempt to whip up sentiments by saying that Tinubu lost in those states.
