CBN Postpones MPC Meeting Again by Bobloco: 6:31pm On Nov 20, 2023
The Central Bank of Nigeria has again postponed the meeting of its monetary policy committee despite the surge in inflation.

This is according to a report by Bloomberg on Monday, which quoted the CBN’s Director of Corporate Communications, Dr Isa Abdulmumin, who said, β€œMPC is not holding” a meeting this week in a text message response.

The meeting, which was scheduled to be held on Monday and Tuesday, has been postponed for a second time since Olayemi Cardoso became governor in September.

This latest postponement will keep investors and analysts waiting a bit longer for Cardoso’s approach to surging inflation, which hit 27.33 per cent in October 2023.

When all these people were not in power, they knew all the solutions to nigeria problems. Now they are in power, they are lost. Who remembers buhari asking jona to resign and give way to competent leadership. After 8 years of buhari, we all know what his definition of competent leadership means

It is very easy to criticise, but difficult to take action when given responsibility. A lot of them were ignorant of the true realities of governance. Now they know better.

It won't change anything even if the meeting is held in the Moon.
Economic Hardship in Nigeria will Increase until our Leaders believe that they Need to Better the Lives of the Poor by Avoid Corrupt Practices.

The postponement of the meeting is a testament to the fact that they don't have any solution to the economic meltdown ravaging the nation presently. So I am not surprised.
Every component of this administration lack clearcut solutions to the numerous problems bedeviling the nation.

Day 1, get the ball rolling.

Day 2, get the ball rolling.

Day 3, still get the ball rolling.

The ball is actually going backwards if you ask me. Sharing #25,000 to the poor will never be a solution.

Cluelessness at it's peak. Just imagine the US postponing CPI or NFP. Nigeria economy is on auto pilot, the fake Cbn governor has no idea of how to fix the economy.

Who told you they don't know what to do. They know but won't fix Nigeria for some selfish reason. Know this and know peace

For example. Do u need to go to harvard before u know our teaching hospitals can be upgraded to international standard. Just plan, release money, monitory and put maintenance structure in place. They will never do that. But rather keep embezzling the money and would fly oversea to handle simple headache

Buhari's own was the worst.

He was the best critic in townβ€”always pointing out whatever is wrong with the government in powerβ€”until he got into power, himself.

I believe that was even what made people like me, to even support and believe in him.

Sadly, in the end, it was all an unforgettable and regrettable experience that left a very bitter taste in our mouths!

But I still like the man, for his personality, though

Wish I could say the same for his government policies...
