It should be expected one day, since Australia is the world's largest breeder of sheep,producer and exporter of mutton and wool.
Moreover the farmers and other stakeholders have fought a long battle in dealing with dingoes since colonial days, which have been a plague on Australian sheep industry.
Dingo is a carnivore of the dog family Canidae,a close cousin of domestic dogs, which hunts in packs, preying on kangaroos, possums,birds, monitor lizards,rodents, other small marsupials, and it is notorious for raiding sheep farms in Australia.
Farmers have fought with this nuisance for a while and managed to greatly checkmate with physical control methods like shooting on sight, maximum security fencing with tight wire gauze, poisoning,use of sheep dogs to herd sheep flocks.

Good day guys please I need a confirmation from any one here or Any Australia basa Nigerian or Aussie citizen.i would like to know if there are snakes everywhere in Australia ,like the streets in Aussie ,houses and in truth are there snakes everywhere in Australia.i have phobia for snakes oo unlike in Nigeria u cannot see snakes everywhere except in the bush and it is very rare.Thank you.

Australia and the over abundance of animals. From rats to wild pigs, to rabbits to spiders to snakes, and now sheeps.

It's a continent with very little human population.. just like Canada.
Almost 85% of the country is uninhabited by humans but perfect for animals like Sheep, cattle etc . Rabbits were introduced two centuries ago.. now they number in the hundreds of millions
A good idea would be to ship them down to Africa but the cost would be astronomical.
New Zealand too has similar problems tho they are trying hard

Yes. Snakes are very predominant in Australia. Trey also have excellent snake bite serum facilities all across the county..so snake bite fatalities are very rare unless you're bitten in the outback hundreds of miles from civilization.

This is an inefficient use of resources and will hurt not only the farmers but the environment.

They were overbreeding, overfeeding and overstocking the flock till the animals became a nuisance and liability. Smh.

The FAO should help them re-distribute the nutrients and export some of the proteins and animals to an investment haven like Lagos state so it can be steadily released into the nutrient cycle of the environment and help the farmers recoup their investments.

On a serious note, the Aussies have done a very good job in boosting sheep wool and meat supplies until the glut began. A new cycle will begin again ones the demand exceeds supply.

The only way I think the sheep 🐑 can be exported is via the meat processing facilities. Live sheep cannot be exported via shipping containers. They will first need to be processed to meat and other stuff, then exported. Also, the distance from Australia to a place like Nigeria will make the landing cost of the sheep quite expensive.

They can be shipped through open deck cargo holds, it doesn't have to be a container shipment... Only challenges can be the rough sea 😁😁
