Benin Historical Ownership Of Lagos & Ignorant Rants by Sadwaste: 4:21pm On Nov 28, 2023 |
The great Oba of Benin went to Lagos on official visit. While in the presence of his host and other dignitaries, he lectured them about the history of Lagos and its Benin heritage. Because he spoke the truth or because his host, the governor of Lagos and others including traditional rulers, were afraid of him, they didn't object or say anything on the contrary. However, after the Oba of Benin returned to his kingdom, all manner of ill mannered kids and juvenile delinquents started insulting the great Oba of Benin. If Sanwo olu and the others who were there couldn't challenge the Oba of Benin in his presence, even in their own ground, then why all these noise now? It is pure cowardice and childish acts to be insulting the great Oba of Benin online and everywhere just because he lectured Sanwo olu and other Yorubas about the history of Lagos. There are lots of evidence and irrefutable facts that show Oba of Benin was 100% right in his claims. That some yorubas are crying blood is also an indication that Oba of Benin spoke facts, after all truth is said to be very bitter! The funny thing is that most of those crying over this issue are not even from Lagos State. History is stubborn and can't be changed, especially when it's fully documented! I don't see the great Oba of Benin raising an army to invade Lagos and reclaim it. Such can't happen in modern times. The last episode of such was in Illorin and that happened a couple of centuries back. Enough of the insults on the great Oba of Benin. He only spoke facts and insulting him shows lack of respect to constituted authority as well as lack of home training. 5 Likes 2 Shares |

BitterTruth01: Your Case is Easy First Even oba of benin Throne itself Na Yoruba Ile Ife get am The Bible says Wisdom is profitable to direct. Ok, Let us look at the praise names of oba of benin One of it is Abieyuwa N'Ovbi Odua N'uhe The son of the wealthy Odua of Uhe(Ife). (Odua of Ife is the same as oduduwa of Ife) Another of oba of benin's praise names is Ovbi' Adimila The son of Adimila oduduwa was also known as Olofin Adimula Which was his Title Notice there is no mention at all of any Ekhalerderhan of Igodomigodo or Izoduwa that got lost They did not mention the lEkhalerderhan khalerderhan and Izoduwa too is not happening anywhere in oba of benin's praise names but they called Oduduwa the great Odua of Ife So with their own mouths they themselves have already given the evidence that fully demolished and destroyed their case which had no legs to stand on in the first place and have confirmed with your own Mouth that the oba of benin was indeed oduduwa's Son There is nothing left to drag because it is settled 1 Like |

The most backward region in Nigeria today is yoruba land. People that still live in mud houses, even in their state capitals. Continue hiding behind nomansland while the rest of your region rots away. Airlord2030: 1 Like |
